It won't win if I can help it. Trouble is overrated. Mary Lee Jones is the best song on the album, but I also like Shadow of the West a lot, despite my co-host's feelings towards it! At least no one can accuse us of bias, lol. Turns out our tastes are not exactly in alignment.

Trouble is nice to listen to once and awhile, but it IS overrated and not a favorite of mine. Mary Lee Jones is great, too, but so was September Song, dammit.

I love it -I think it is the best song on the record - It also could be though I like the record, I am not a huge fan of the record except for Trouble

"Trouble" is one of the prettiest songs Lindsey has ever written, and deserves to stay in the game up to the last couple rounds... but "Shadows Of The West" deserves to win.
When my uncle gave me his vinyl copy of 'Law & Order' way back when (his interest in LB completely ceased when 'Go Insane' was released), I recorded it onto cassette so I could listen to it on my Walkman. I rewound and re-played "Shadows Of The West" so often, I wore out the tape.

Default Round 4- Mary Lee Jones

And Im with you Rezamatic to get Shadow of the West out in a few rounds. And there's nothing wrong with Trouble winning this thing. Although I think Id rather see Bwana win.

I thought it was inevitable that It Was I was history this round. I shall vote for Trouble from now on. Amen.

Ya got that right! I have no beef with MLJ (had to vote for it last round, though.) but Shadow...yeuck. I even gave it a special sympathy listen last night on the road for Nancy but got nothin' out of it. As a matter of fact, I'm going to be the first one to post my vote for Shadow of the West next round and see if I can wrangle up everyone else to get it out. I just can't appreciate that song, I think it's boring, uninspired and lame-sounding on a very otherwised quirky and fun album.

But for now I must vote "It Was I". It's lost its appeal for me.

Default Round 4 - Bwana

"It Was I" is obviously marked for death, so I'm going to vote for something else in case there's a tie breaker later on, lol. And that song is: Bwana.
