Tiff:

Are you able to get any info on:

How she sounded/acted? High notes? No risk taking? Nervous? Happy?

What the crowd reaction was like, esp. for the "different" tunes? Was the venue full?

What she wore over the Bedazzler pants? And did she wear the pants for Henley's set only, I assume?

BTW - Where's Brian - wasn't he going to text someone too (or is that who you've been talking with Tiff?) Let's hope & pray he got it recorded.

My goodness, I'm a nervous Nellie tonight!

Okay, admittedly, I would've died for that, too. I love that song, and the whiskey ( ) and have never heard Stevie doing it.

Most people seem to be really happy with it actually. I agree about this being the most adventurous since Enchanted and hope she keeps up with it once don leaves.

well now you're contridicting yourself. Dropping Dreams would be one of those RISKS. Maybe her doing this Bonnie Rait song might make thousands of other fans pissed--so

I'd be a lot more excited if I were familiar with the cover songs, but I am not that upset with the setlist. I just wish that if she were doing new songs live they were her own! Sorry...

It's Late and Just Like a Woman would have been my picks if she had to do a couple covers.

On the phone with Marissa right now. Don joked that he was just opening for Stevie. During Don's set she wore black pants with rhinestones or studs or something on the side, with stiletto ankle boots. Changed back into the black dress and shawls for her set. She introduced Circle Dance as one of her favorite Bonnie Raitt songs. There was handshaking, and the venue was fuller than expected.

Um, okay, I'm excited, too, sweetie, but lets not make stuff up.... several covers? or, wait, actually, 2? As far as her own songs go, she was not exceptionally adventurous. I'm still very excited, though, don't worry.

OK, we cleared that up. But most people know Petty's version, so I consider it a Petty song.

This wasn't really aimed at you, gldstwmn. I just wanted to save everyone from constantly typing " but it's not really a Petty song..." over & over.

I can't wait to find out the Gold Dust Tour setlist and see what remains in the set and what she adds to the setlist. I am hoping she continues being creative and throws a song from The Other Side of the Mirror into the setlist. That would rock!

If anyone finds out what Don was wearing (especially the pants) you will make a chat room of Henley fans very, very happy

The Stevie set sounds okay...I've been a bit aprehensive.

Well I DIDN'T grous about the Vegas set list as many others did. And How can you people say this is as adventerous as the Enchanted tour. Not even close (Gold and Braid, Twisted, Sleeping Angel etc.) This all the same songs, Leather and Lace and 2 covers.
