Oh I think she has plenty of worse songs.

JLAW is kinda depressing and I think that fits in well on Street Angel....hmm I'm not sure if that reads as a compliment or insult, but I mean it in a complimentary way

Docklands took a while to grow on me. But once she hits "Iiiiiiiiii beg of you", how can you not love it! Definitely one of her unfairly maligned songs...due mostly imo to 'laundromat" appearing in it. (Not that I'm saying that's why you dislike it )

I like both of these songs. I don't see why Docklands gets a bad wrap. I think her vocal is fab on it. I do agree that the middle and end of the song is better than the first few lines.

"Docklands" is a great, great song -- one of Stevie's shining moments of middle age. Not only is it great listening to Stevie sing it -- whether on the album or live or on her demo -- but it's also cool to play & sing yourself.

It's a song that always comes out beautifully.

I love Stevie's version of Just Like A Woman. She should do more Dylan covers.

Docklands is tolerable. I've always thought it belonged on Tina Turner's Foreign Affair album, though. Maybe because it was written by Trevor Horn.
