Okay, I'll tell you then. (didn't want to bore anyone)

Last year I made a comic book (I do cartoons) spoofing the Destiny Rules VH1 special. It was 8 pages long, and I had it color copied and bound. I sent 4 copies to Stevie's assistant, asking her to please give one to each band member. About a month after that, I got an email from "Stevie". Rolling my eyes like, yeah-right, I opened the email. It said, "Jamie, Thank you for making me laugh! See you in June, 2nd Row! Love, Stevie Nicks" Of course when I got this I grilled anyone that knew about the book if they were F-ing with me. They weren't, and I was happy, but I still had my doubts. My doubts left me however a few months later, when a friend of mine who got backstage for a show in Philly took a copy of the book with her to have Stevie sign for me. My friend told me as soon as Stevie saw it, her face lit up and she said, "Oh my God, it's that comic book again! Bring it over here! You guys have to see this!" And she proceeded to go through each page, telling everyone the different parts that really made her laugh. She thought at first that my friend was the artist, and was about to hug her, but my friend was honest and said she wasn't and that she just brought it to have signed for me. I have it today in a shadow box. It says, "Jamie- Much Love, Stevie Nicks" then, "Thanks you so much, Stevie" with the little heart with wings drawn on it.

So that's the story. Cool, huh?

That comic book story is totally cool and you should be very proud to tell it to people. Why couldn't you take it to get signed yourself? Sorry she didn't hear you tell her who you were in Vegas.

Your story is so cool, Jamie! I hope that you do get to meet Stevie and tell her that you are the one who did the book. I am surprised that she did not give you a backstage pass or arrange to meet you somehow. Maybe this year you will.

Thanks guys! I couldn't take it myself cause I live in california and my friend who got backstage was in Philly (where the show was). Believe me, I would have if I could have!

That's so cool! Hey, do you have a way you could scan it or something so we could see it? ...If you want to share it, of course

She is very sweet, an excellent roomie and a ton of fun to drink with.

Kandace and Bryan (hi Bryan ) are the sweetest people! The reason she met Stevie in Dublin is because (I hope I get this story correct) Stevie felt like she'd known/seen Kandace in a previous life. Kandace was at the Dallas and Woodlands shows near me last year. She asked Cory to take a shirt backstage (I believe it was the one she had on when she met her) and Cory did....that was sooooo sweet of her.

Perhaps she is uncomfortable with her personal business being spread all over the message boards? She does not post here....if she wanted to she could. She does not. I can only assume from that she is not comfortable sharing her story...probably partially because of the way she was treated by various board members.

On Saturday night, I held her hand and told her something to the effect of "Thank you so much and I love you." She responded in her regal way "Okay" with a big smile. I was able to hold her hand twice.

My life is complete!

Ok, I'm a little bit jealous... I've been to 9 of her solo shows, including one front row, and never had the chance to shake her hand. I think some fans are a bit whorey about the whole thing... give some of the rest of us a chance!! Just kidding... sort of.

me, too. I think I'm wearing "Stevie Repellent". Actually, I was only close enough when she was with the mac. At these shows I was 'out of range'. Still, it's nice to be close enough to see her smiling....AT EVERYONE ELSE!!!

Hey Ken! Super lame that we never had a chance to hang out in Vegas. I did try! Honest! I went to Margaritaville and couldn't find anyone! Anyway, why didn't you book it to the front? You totally could have made it in time! We bolted as soon as we saw people moving up. It was amazing holding her hand!

I forgot the cancers were supposed to rush the stage. Too bad you didn't make it! Since I'm 6'5" people tend to move out of my way for whatever reason. I tend to get that Godzilla face whenever I pass people! You will hold her hand one day! Just get that eye of yours fixed up so you don't scare her!

On Friday I got to shake her hand. And it's tiny. Afterwards when she played BatB the people I was around were SO annyoing. One guy behind me kept saying "she's so ****in' hot" the whole time. Right in my ear no less

On Saturday I was more off to the side, and when she came by people went ape ****. Pushing ect. ect. I kinda just held her wrist.

I have the same repellent. I've been at her feet 3 times, (twice solo, Enchanted and RAL) and once with FM and she has always breezed right over me. I'm usually saying "stevie?" in this pathetic little voice, too.
