She sang the third to Sharon and Lori's fifth and Jana's first - at least it sounded that way to me.

I watched a TV program about Celine just before departing for Vegas. They talked extensively about the venue and mentioned that she was having a special vaporizer installed that would digitally sense the positioning of the singer and dispense moisture vapors at various intervals. Makes me wonder if that aparatus was already in place during Stevie's performances. If so, it could explain why she wasn't more active during the shows. Interesting stuff!!

I was there Friday, and I have to agree. I don't think I've ever seen her perform like this! I wasn't planning on going to see any Stevie/Don shows, but now I think I might if I can afford it!

regarding tuesday's show:

i think that tuesday's show was, vocally speaking, better than wednesday's. every note was spot on. i believe she went high on FFG? there was also minimal interaction and movement.

wednesday she was on fire, and she was still so incredibly on, but some of the notes weren't as strong as tuesday's. to each his own...

I'm the opposite. I think she was stronger vocally Wed.

Whatev. Either way, all 4 shows were incredible (from what I hear about Fri & Sat, anyway.) Can't wait for the boots!!!

I agree. She kicked ass on Wednesday! Plus she sang with much more intensity, passion and flair! The nerves were less obvious too and IMHO, that added to her confidence..giving us a kick ass show. HSML and Sorcerer were so spot on I cannot even describe it.

BTW..I thought OTR at these shows was awesome and better than the SA shows I saw. She put her heart and soul into it..something she hasn't done with this song often in recent years.

I HOPE we get this Dreams remix...it sounds fantastic as a faster, dance song. I loved hearing a new vocal out of her like that.

Plus wednesday I could tell that Stevie was upset that Mariel and I weren't up front for Edge. Threw the whole thing off.

Seriously! They have one for Elton, and he's only a part-timer!

Of so, I would spend my money there instead of on gambling, where I was a big loser.
