Yes. It's stronger. I think that room has some special climate control which might have made her feel a little more comfortable about utilizing her higher register.

How were your seats? My understanding was that more of the show was comped out over the weekend (not that there was a bad seat in the house).
We got great seats at the last minute Friday and had equally good seats for Saturday.

Not to mention, she's had a considerable time off from singing and I think when she's not doing a ton of shows back to back (as she did on the SYW tour), it truly makes a difference. I don't think i've ever been so moved by a performance of hers than with Beauty and the Beast...it gives me chills just thinking about it...."well at least i'm....trying to change..."

No, I didn't see anything new. Maybe if Stevie does a residency there she'll get her own store like Celine.

It's also the intensity, which I didn't really see too much of on TISL. She also seemed more willing to take chances vocally.
I haven't heard Outside The Rain sung with such intensity since at least Street Angel era or before.

Well so far, Ie only heard the 6 songs from Tuesday, and the general reports from the reviews is that was the weakest night, and I'm really BLOWN AWAY, mainly with How Still My Love and BATB. I mean in the rocking part of HSML around 2 minutes til 3 minutes she just has this intensity in her voice liek shes really trying, which is something we haven't had since really the Enchanted Tour. On the SYW tour she just nailed Beautiful Child and was perfect, but shes been able to do ballads really well lately, so that and BATB and Landslide (SYW) have all been great vocally, but it seems shes been lacking in really trying in the more rocking songs. I think she did great on GDW and Rhainnon and Silver Springs on the SYW tour but it still felt like she wasn't giving all she could, and its very understandable considering how many dtaes she had to do. But when I hear How Still My Love I can tell she's not holding and and is doing all she can do, and this is from hearing tuesdays show, the one day that didn't get as glowing of reviews as the 3 future shows. Na di still haven't even seen video yet.

I agree 100%. TISL...she was distant, often sick, etc. She was spot on in everything she did in Vegas. As much as I hate to think of her as a Vegas act, this, to me, is what she belongs doing should she not release anymore albums. She was a Queen on her throne on the Colesseum stage. Whatever she's doing, she needs to keep on keepin' on.

I'm specifically talking about last night's version. As you wish, though.

Yes. It certainly agrees with her. She was having a really good time, too.

Was Outside the Rain amazing or what? I loved that gibberish, speaking in tongues thing where you couldn't understand anything... it was just a burt of passion. It was amazing! It seemed like early 1980's Stevie.
