On the upside, I'm *finally* going to get to see Duran Duran in concert, which works for me, considering I've been a fan since 1982, and this will be my first concert.

Have a great time at the Duran Duran concert! I am going to see Def Leppard in late June, my first time seeing them and the ticket price was reasonable! Two very popular 80's bands that I like quite a bit.

Undecided. I do think it is highly unlikely that any promotr would want to finance a tour with ten dates. So if Stevie is obligated to do more shows and has to do them alone since Don has more important things going on, I WILL do those shows instead. If she is only touring with Henley for those ten days, I will go to opening night most likely. I have not bought tickets and am not concerned about finding them. Better tickets always drop into the pool at some point

I have had an unsettled feeling about this tour from the get go and I have never seen Stevie launch tour dates or a new album like this. It is shocking the way these tour dates are dribbling out with no continuity or promotion. Stevie still hasn't mentioned this summer venture in any of her recent interviews. (she talked about alot of other stuff, not just Caesars..sooo) It is baffling how unorganized this whole deal seems....and what the Hell is she touring to promote? The Greatest Hits that she never talks about either? (when she released Timespace at least she talked about how much she hated GH albums and showed 'some' enthusiasm by recording a couple of new tunes for it)

Is Stevie not aware that she's going on this tour?

She is quoted in the showbiz article saying that the Vegas gig is really great because she won't have to get in a plane and do a tour. But then she is going on tour 3 weeks later. It makes no sense that she isn't saying a word about this summer "tour." At a minimum, the way both Henley and Stevie are addressing it in the media makes me think neither of them are really into it.

I think you maybe reading into that a little. I think Stevie just meant that she likes the Vegas thing cause it's different from actual touring, meaning135-date-touring like she did with FM. After all, that could be tiring right? As far as promotion goes for her and Don, it baffles me as well why it's so low-key. Maybe it's because there are so few dates? Did you all notice she's got a solo date up for the Brogata Casino on 6-30?? That gives hope for future dates after that, WITHOUT Don! (sorry Don. I love ya and all, but seeing Stevie solo...priceless..)

I'm also feeling hopeful for a Henley-less July swing out West. I'd give that two blue blobs and an angel.

I plan on it! I love Def Leppard! I need to check now to see if they're hitting anywhere near here. Have a blast at the concert!

Most likely I am going to the Wachovia show on June 3rd.

I don't want to see Don Henley but seeing Stevie in Enchanted and twice for TISL isn't enough. Like Regina said, how many more chances are we going to get?

I just think they should have done smaller venues, my goodness.

Oh well, Stevie rocks and any chance to see her I will take.

If the dates ever reflect a pacific-northwest show (Oregon, Washington), I'm sooo there. I'll also be in St. Louis this summer, so hopefully they will stop by when I'm there, too!

Just wanted to let you know that a friend and I called the Borgata and Don Henley is indeed playing there with her on the 30th. It is an error on TM. The Pittsburgh show is also listed without Don but he IS going to be there. Nobody should be thinking that this Borgata show is a solo gig..if you are doubtful give the Borgata box office a call and they will tell you that the show is a Henley Nicks gig. (i agree I would prefer solo but that is not the case this summer)

I will be at the June 3 show in Philly. I noticed that the tickets didn't sell quickly...makes me wonder why my seats are so bad... ...probably because I went bargain basement this time and got the cheap seats. I really don't need to see any better than I can with my binocs, I'm there to listen, right?

I'm also seeing Alanis Morrisette in Philly, June 14th I think? She's doing an acoustic version of Jagged LIttle Pill. And so begins my summer concert season... YAY!
