What is your favorite designer?

Me, too. My income, nor my parents', have never, ever, been in the realm of designers. therefore, I don't think about it much. I am lucky, and was lucky, if I could buy clothes.(I had 2 pairs of pants in sixth grade! boy, that was sure awesome! ) BUT - I have noticed things on TV I like. I don't always remember, though. Vera Wang comes to mind. Armani. I like things without too much going on, classic, flattering lines. Exception - Bob Mackey and Cher. love it, love it, love it. I'm fond of the simple dress with outstanding strap/neckline. Or the super flattering clean shape, with something a bit unusual going on in the cut. I hate flouncy stuff, and just stuff with too much going on in general. Black is great. That skin tone/beige thing can be great, as well.
