um, I think longer, like an hour and a half? My flight leaves at 11:30 ish and gets there around 12 something...yeah, 1:30 is good. I didn't want to get there at 3 something either, it didn't seem like enough time. Although, if I can't get into my room, I suppose I just may be able to accomplish eating and maybe pool lounging (if they let me) by the time I get into the room. But it will be nice to rest and gather myself, I guess. Maybe I can say "hi" to some people who will already be at the Flamingo.

We are set to land in Vegas at 3:30pm & it is a direct flight through Southwest. I've never had a problem before, I'm sure I won't have one now. I? Love Southwest.

I don't like rushing either, but we'll manage. I figure even if we do run late, then we just check in, change clothes & run to the show. We will NOT miss it, that's for damn sure.

Amby - maybe you could meet up with Riss & Kelly at the hotel since you're getting there early. At least that way you won't have to sit there by yourself for 2 hours.

Unless, of course, Riss & Kelly hate you & don't want to hang with you. In that case, you're scewed.

I'm not screwed because I'm sitting by myself for 2 hours. Sheesh.
and if you get to the hotel by 4, that still gives you, like, 3 hours to get ready. should be plenty o' time, I myself would only take about 45 min to 1 hour, including shower and outfit picking. ie - "this one or this?"

I know what you mean, but Theresa & I just couldn't pull off a Monday flight. Both times I've flown direct to Vegas from here I got in 15 minutes early & was at my hotel within an hour of landing. So PLEASE send us your good vibes that all will be well again!

I feel the same way. I'll be flying in that afternoon but arriving at 3 for an 8:00 concert (what time is the concert?) seems like plenty of time to me! (knocks on wood) Also, I'm excited about Margaritaville after, I haven't had good Mexican in a while and I love the 'ritas for sure.

I won't be too casual. Not like your dress, though. Cause I'll be wearing black. But maybe with my Stevie shirt, it's all burgundy and dark orange and swirls and gold threading. definitely dress or skirt, though.

Oh cute. I was thinking that I could use this as an excuse to wear flats, that I don't want to be too dressy. There are some fun gold thongs out there! Since it's a baby doll style it can be dressed down.

I would go all out if I wanted, or had the clothes. But it is nice to wear flats. On the other hand, you may be sitting the whole time. You're a doll. I did see them! That is probably why I got it into my head that I had to dress up, the place is just elegant! Besides, I clean up real good.

Yes! Besides, what I'm thinking, is that in my regular life, I hardly get chances to dress up (you may have more, but) so, if anything even remotely resembles an opportunity to dress up, I will. So you should definitely rock it. Plus, aren't you going two nights? That gives you another opportunity to wear what you want. I was thinking of trying to rock that green dress I got, but it's not quite as flattering as I would want it to be. I'm still having much shoe trouble. Also, I'm hoping I won't need a jacket for evening, but I'm pretty sure I will. That's kind of bumming me out. For the record, I'll probably be wearing high heeled thongs with my outfits.... silly? oh well.

I haven't had many chances to dress up in quite a while and I am such a girly girl. And, I love heeled thongs! Go for it. Also, if you want to try the green dress, you can get a Nancy Ganz shaper from Filenes or Macys. They are not like girdles and do the trick. Although if it's hot, they're not too comfortable. They're better than pantyhose though, those are evil, blech. And yep, I'm going to 2 shows, so now I have to decide which night to wear what!
