Judy Wong's death confirmed

i remember when i was first getting into the band in the late 70's - and you know when you really love a record, you read every last inch of the liner notes? I think that's how I got to know about Judy. She seemed to be a member of the FM family.

And yes, it is weird to think about a peer of the band dying. Something I think about from time to time as Stevie and Lindsey march onward toward 60.

Getting old sucks - but it's nice to know we'll have the records they made forever.

Well, this is just terrible news. I'm sure the band is very sad. Rest in peace, Judy. I'm sure she will continue to look over the band from above.

Yeah she was very cool. She was this cool chick that hung around the periphery of the group, in the old days at Seedy Mgmt & then just cool....

Doggone it... spending too much time on the Vegas thread.

I guess I didn't know Judy had been ill. It's good that she didn't die a lingering awful death like from cancer.

My heart goes out to those who are saddened by the loss of Judy. With Ms. Wong goes many memories of the folks who made the music that defined our generation, the music we love. There is one great book that will never be written.

Thanks to Mick for seeing to her memorial. I'm sure her musical family loved her as much if not more than any family could have.

At the risk of sounding trite, she's in a better place and hopefully making beautiful music with all the wonderful people we miss.
