sorry! I don't think I'll have enough for both - NY is expensive. But I would if I could, rest assured. But probably you are thinking the same thing about NOTS as I am about Vegas: "it's closer, and the flight is cheaper" (for me, just like NY is cheaper for you). "come to Vegas, Deanna...join us...joooiin ussssss...." But actually, I bet some east coasters are still going to NOTS....

that's my thinking exactly...although when I saw Stevie was playing Vegas I though ...oh well - I'll go to that instead...not taking into consideration the considerable price difference

Oh well...I can't swing Vegas right now - if I had the money I'd go to NM - if my family found out I spent $$ on Vegas and not on visiting them....oooh there'd be hell to pay

Families, Bah! JK. I'm sorry I won't be seeing you! It's nice you are close to your fam, though. When my mom guilt trips me - ("You have other plans for your 30th birthday?! Well, guess I'll see you some time before you hit menopause!") I think - "shoulda been nicer, shouldntchya?!" MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! REVENGE!

For future reference, Southwest has tons of cheap direct N/S flights from Buffalo to Vegas. Phoenix too. You can do a 4 night in Vegas with a direct flight there & back for less than $500 if you book ahead.

I'm really sorry about NOTS, but when there's a real chance for me to see Stevie, I have to take it. I've wanted to go to NOTS for the past few years & never have. Maybe Curtis will still go to NOTS - he said he can't go to Vegas. Hopefully we can get together eventually, since you're all close & stuff.

I totally understand - if I could right now I'd also go the actually seeing Stevie route...you know rather than seeing hundreds of men dressed as Stevie

But yeah - it's a bummer that I won't be able to join in the Ledgie fun there in Vegas - but whatev...another time another place

And thanks for the heads up on Southwest...it's usually cheaper to fly out of Bufallo - stupid small Rochester airport

You can do better then that on Southwest. I got 2 roundtrip, nonstop tickets from Indianapolis to Phoenix for less then $400. Make sure you check their fun fares and internet specials.

Southwest usually has their new specials every Tuesday. You can even go to their website and sign up so that they email them to you every week. This way you don't miss out. Don't for get to sign up for their Rapid Rewards too. You really don't need to travel that far to earn a free ticket either. I got mine just from going back and forth a few times to Philadelphia. Phily is only about 35 minutes in the air time from Providence. One minute you get your peanuts and drinks the next they come and take all the garbage away.

I am going to Vegas free from a few $29.00 flights.

Not this time. I've flown to Phoenix and Vegas in the past (both direct flights) for $198 roundtrip. It's too close to the travel date, so the $99 fun fares are gone - the best I can do directly through SW is $300 - add on 4 days at a hotel & I'm probably over the $500, plus they're not direct flights.

Funjet charters vacations (with Southwest) from Buffalo to Vegas a few times a week, they're all 3 or 4 star hotels & the flights are non-stop, so everything's all set without aggravation. Thanks though!

I would still check Southwest.com on Tuesday just to see if they do have any specials on a day that you might want to go. I just like to check everywhere. I changed my hotel about 3 times already.

Default Southwest

All the funfares and internet specials are unavailable through SW....Philly to Vegas. Bummer. The flight times are also a bit sketchy. Very limited flights out of Vegaso n Sunday night..only red eyes really. I am changing to the first two shows cause of the return flight situation.
**If** I had no hubby and kids I would go for the whole week but two shows is cool, especially if she is playing this summer too. More affordable! I booked at Caesars figuring I can change or cancel, if I want to. Now the problem is getting tickets.
