You should have heard that tramp Joan Rivers talking about Hepburn earlier. Talk about low. Blanchett asked if she had met Hepburn and Joan proceeded to tell her what a mean bitch Hepburn was.

There are some places you just don't go, as far as i'm concerned, and that is one of them.

YAY CLINT!!!11!1!!

He deserves it. I love his movies. I kinda like to see Scorsese continue to lose, too.

I love how dry and brief and straightforward Clint is. *sigh for Clint* Wait, Does babs wear the same dress everywhere? Love the necklace, though.

I think he should have won long ago - but Clint E. was great and he certainly deserved it.

His best movies as a director, IMO, were Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore and After Hours. It may sound blasphemous, but I'm sticking to it. Gangs of New York was so bad I was physically ill.

All in all - I give the whole show a B-

The coolest thing was seeing two of my friends walking in on the carpet behind the real red carpet.

I do love Scorsese's movies- I totally dug The Aviator, and I actually LOVED LOVED LOVED Gangs of New York for some godforsaken reason, but. Clint deserved that award.

I still think he should win every award in the world for A Perfect World, from like ten years ago.

YAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!! Go Clint. KICK ASS.

I love it when the movies I actually love win.

I thought Gangs of NY was brilliant and DDL was robbed. Socrcese takes the most visceral and ugly or the most ethereal and beautiful and makes it blatant. I think he is brilliant. But, other than Taxi Driver, which I recognize as brilliant even though it is not one of my fav.'s, Age of Innocence should have gotten him the Oscar. That movie was so beilliantsly told.
