Oy, Ginny is a she-beast. What a whack job. I thought people like that only existed in the movies.

Hope it's just a regular fan.

People like this have always existed in the fan world. The longer the time one has spent in the fan world, the more people like this one has seen in action.

The only way to avoid the rotten ones is to avoid the good ones, too, & I've never chosen to do that. There are too many cool, funny, generous fans around to avoid the whole world, as far as I'm concerned.

I've been around for a while but I'm oblivious I guess...well actually I pretty much just stay around here - and once in a while I pop onto Nancy's board...that's pretty much it

I've come across some crazies here for sure....but this Barbara and Ginny - they seem like extreme sickies there...

Blame Stevie for Ginny, she's the one who employed her for so many years and forced that beast upon us. Ginny is 51 cards short of a full deck.

It's funny, but I've been a part of the online fan community since 1996/97, but apparently I've been far more insulated in my experiences... somehow... than I ever would have thought.
I was burned once early on by someone I trusted and shared a little too much personal info with, but after that turned around and bit me in the butt, I've been careful to get to know people really well before taking them into my confidence, or having any kind of dealings with them.

So I guess aside from that one bad experience, it seems that I've been EXTREMELY lucky in regards to the people in the fan community that I've developed relationships and friendships with.

I had someone hack into my AIM buddy list and then send me a message "Your name is on my buddy list, how did it get there?" Their name also showed up on my buddy list so I thought it might actually just be a fluke but later realized, with some additional information about this person, that I'd been hacked. That was weird and creepy but nothing bad came of it.

I guess cause of my music trade website, But I am wary of the FM/SN trade offers moreso than anything else I have listed...Dont know why, But I like to check around a bit and see if the offer is coming from a regular poster on a FM website I frequent, If I see they're a regular poster then I have no worry about tradin' with 'em cause if a poster was to receive something from me in a trade then offer it on eBay you can pretty much guarantee I will front 'em on the website I see 'em posting at for the whole damn world to see (Trust me, There's one such person who at one time owned a Stevie Nicks website that I traded with...And she is selling **** on eBay for profit, I 100% verified it to be the person I traded with her because I have her link/email addy still active on my ol' "Good traders list" that I removed 'visibly' from my trade pages.)
