I thought Gwen was lip-synching. I think Green Day was definitely live. I am not a fan of theirs, really, but I actually said out loud, "Damn, they're tight - I'll give them that." Across the Universe could have been better - and would have been had they rehearsed more. Steven Tyler's timing was off a bit - and everyone was obviously reading a teleprompter for the lyrics. Alicia Keys can do no wrong in my book. I continually highly recommend both of her cds. The girl is awesome! I don't think Sheryl was wearing panties w/ that dress! How could she?

And finally - opinions are like a-holes - everybody's got one:

A Night to Forget
Grammys 2005.

By Aaron Keith Harris

I sat through all three-and-a-half hours of the 47th Annual Grammy Awards telecast last night and I don't have a single song running through my head, which tells you something about the music that is popular enough to win accolades from the financially lagging mainstream recording industry.

I probably wasn't the only one who wanted to bail during the woeful opening medley, featuring execrable performances by Best New Artist winners Maroon 5, Scottish rockers Franz Ferdinand and pop/hip-hop divas Gwen Stefani and Eve, all strung together by the truly annoying "Let's Get it Started" from the Black Eyed Peas. But stuck in the middle of this mess was the refreshingly musical Texican brother trio Los Lonely Boys with their hit "Heaven."

Oh, don't get me wrong - I laughed, but it was pretty bad. Of course, it was bad when Sheryl Crow ignored Jessica Simpson at the AMA's too, but I laughed really hard that time!

For the record, I like Gwen, but I can't stand the Rich Girl thing. You ARE rich, be-yotch!

Sitting in the audience. Do you think they could've asked him to play something? Cripes, they had Lynyrd Skynyrd and Elvin Bishop up there but hey, let's just let Jimmy sit in the audience. Way to go, Grammys!

I think it would have been remiss of her to have worn panties. There are some things you just shouldn't wear panties with, no matter how much you love panties. That dress was one of those things.

This guy hit it right on the mark, Couldnt have said it better

Finally, yer were wrong on one thing, it is no longer correct to say the following saying:

"Opinions are like a-holes - everybody's got one"

Nope, the following is more correct:

"Opinions are like a-holes-everybody's got one & they smell"

"Live Like Your Were LYIN'" would make for a great parody title

The point of the rich girl song is not her whining about not being rich. It is when she says "all the riches baby, won't mean anything, (etc.)" and then something about "what your love can bring". Her point is that riches wouldn't matter if she didn't have this person's love.

Which love? Her secret affair with Eve?
