DEFCON 5 - which entails a cross country trip with a Bose system and only FM and the solo stuff - EVERYDAY AND ALL DAY until the infidels submit!

I've never had any complaints (to my face) lol...what people say behind my back? Well what I don't know can't hurt me...so until I get a complaint about shoving Stevie/FM down people's throats I will continue to do so

Actually the last time I had friends over I put all FM/Stevie in my cd changer - they totally dug the music - and one guy even said he is now a fan

I'm always the driver when my friends and I go out. Every now and then I sneak a FM/Stevie/Lindsey song into the mix. They usually cringe, but I think I have them tamed down now. They are getting good at picking out which songs are which and knowing the lyrics.

My sis used to make fun of me so so bad for liking them. When she came in from Columbus over break, I saw in her car GH, The Dance, and TVBOFM. She even said she wants to go a concert with me. Score! I converted one!

I've actually managed to turn a few Stevie casual fans, into non-fans...lol is that an achievement? Well probably not, I dont know how it happened! lol

They just say stuff like "You made me sick of her, now when i hear her voice i cringe cuz ive heard it SOO MUCH"

Seriously...maybe i need to cool it lol

Chris

Well, it's your place, you choose the music. That being said, I guess an ask to see if there are any objections makes sence. Most folks will probably be too polite to verbalize any objections..........so what am I saying, you ask? I have no idea.......gads, I wasn't very helpful.

At work, I am able to play anything I like on the radio. I still play SN/FM sparingly. Mostly because it has such a profound ettect on me that it is hard to work with it on, but I also fear I may be boring my co-workers. Another little reason, that I rarely admit to is that if I played it as often as I could, my co-workers would be worried that I may be obsessed.....which of course is true.....but they don't need to know it.

Does anyone else here get excited when you start to tell (your victim's ), you know, stuff like the Buckingham Nicks romance or Lindsey's under rated guitar playing or why Christines not there, stuff like that. My husband's like "honey slow down", or my friends will make fun of me and say "your hyperventilating, calm down" I just want to teach them so much about this great band Or during one of Stevie's really good performances on Boston, I'll say "LOOK!!" if their talking and not paying attention Is that just me or is anyone else like that?

yes, but i try not to dork out, cause maybe they don't care. But usually i end up dorking out anyway. But the worst is when someone's not paying attention, and you asked them specifically to watch. So i have to say "you have to watch this part! Look! sqeeeeeeee" and if it's on and they're talking or something, it's extremely hard for me to look away from the Video/DVD to pay attention to them.

I have done exactly everything that you are all talking about. It's not just you! I have a bad habit of completely changing subjects to talk about music...especially FM. A lot of things that other people talk about (mainly other people) bore me.

And I always do the, "Wait everyone...this is a really good part- listen!"

There is nothing wrong with shoving FM down other people's throats. It should be done on a regular basis. We must convert the masses.

Clearly, we should all hang out with each other.... so as not to bore ourselves and our friends to death..

I agree! haha, except I did convince my best friend to get obsessed. She had only been listening to FM for a couple months when we went to that last Detroit show. But she doesn't like to talk as much as I do...unfortunately none of my friends do...
