What cool stuff did you get (or not get) for Christmas or other winter holiday?

Is it just me or have penguins become the new "in" animal? Everything is Penguins these days.

Roswell Season 2 DVD Set, Star Wars Original Trilogy DVDs, Saved!, a pretty pink bathrobe, Elizabeth Arden Red Door gift set (and bad ass red snakeskin bag that came with it), Lance Armstrong calendar, a pretty key ring and matching earrings, Victoria's Secret Love Spell stuff, gift card to Urban Outfitters, a coffee tumbler from Starbucks.

Merry Christmas everybody!

Let's see...

Live in Boston, Destiny Rules, several pajamas but no penguins, a yorkie tote, patched teddy bear, fleece throw with my name embroidered on it, pink cross & bead bracelet, sapphire/diamond earrings, purses, gift certificates, toe socks, clothes and more clothes.

The first two things are what I wanted most. I'll be doing after Christmas shopping.

Mac related stuff I got:

Destiny Rules DVD
Heroes are Hard to Find (the whole family made fun of the cover )
The Very Best of Fleetwood Mac
Fleetwood Mac Live
Street Angel
Bob Welch: His Fleetwood Mac Years and Beyond (I still can't believe it's signed!)

I got some other CDs--Carly Simon, Kim Richey, John Lennon, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Ani DiFranco, and Celine Dion.

And my Mom managed to find me a sterling silver stethoscope pin and a poster to feed my stethoscope obsession!

Those are the big things.

Hey Kate, I got my Mom the Return of Saturn CD and I told her you said it was their best.

Awesome stuff! Now you can hear Skies the Limit and the Live album's Rhiannon...it rocks! I personally love Street Angel. It's my second favorite Stevie record.

All I needed was sweaters....so I was pleased with those. My sis got me Golden Girls Season 1 on DVD. YAY! That's my favorite present this year.

I got from my parents a Far Side book (I don't have any, they have them all) and I got this gorgeous Stevie burned velvet shawl from my dad. It has black fringe and different color "dark" panels of designs in it. It's hard to describe, but it is so beautiful. It's weird that it's Stevie ish, cause my dad wouldn't do that on purpose - guess he just has good taste. Oh, and i got a crock pot (which is actually cool) and $200. Thanks mom and Dad!
*Edit - Stevie/Fleetwood Mac has to do another show just so I can wear this shawl. It's that good.*

I am thinking of getting that with one of my gift cards.

I'll keep your recommendations in mind when I give everything a listen.

I got a large framed African painting of a sunset on the Masai from my mother (I actually mentioned I wanted to buy this a couple of months back so it's cool she remembered my fondness for African art)

I also got the book "The Dark Horse Years... The Life and Art of George Harrison" which was totally unexpected but is very cool because I love George's work...

I got Michael Palin's Himalayas book from a fellow Ledgie

And I got a garden full of snow for the first time in many years on Christmas day. which has really made it a great feeling... Looking outside and seeing a really festive sight...

Aww...That's sweet. Don't let my judgements sway you, though. I doubt they will. You are pretty opinionated and independent (compliments, of course).

[DeadliestPoison]

- Sony Walkman (my old one had been dropped SO many times)
- Blondie's "Eat To The Beat" and "Plastic Letters" from my sister (I ordered "The Hunter" from Amazon, so my collection's pretty much complete. On to Solo!Debbie!)
- Two shirts
- Blondie's Behind The Music DVD
- Harry Potter & the Prisoner of Azkaban DVD (It's fullscreen, though, so I have to get it exchanged for the widescreen)
- Buffy Season 7
- Penguin swag

I'm going to go out later this week and get Patti Smith's "Trampin'," The Pretenders' "Viva El Amor," and possibly Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind if I have enough money left.

I didn't get what I was really hoping for -- an external harddrive (this computer can't handle another internal). I have, like, 600 megs left on this, so I was really shooting for one. :\

I got a great dinner, hugs, and laughter. That’s all I wanted so it’s was a great Christmas.

I need one of those too! Ever since I got my iPod, I've completely crammed my hard drive with my music collection. I think I'm working with like 300MB of free space. I didn't want to ask for one, though, because I knew they wouldn't get me the one I wanted or needed.

My dad just gave me a late Christmas present in a bottle of vodka when he went to the liquor store. He put a bow on it. Do Christmas screwdrivers count as a Christmas present?
