Now that is a plug for ya!)

Oh, Fineman is a pill. "We should have had more troops in Iraq to begin with and we shouldn't have had more troops because there wasn't enough armor for them." He's dumb as a post. And when he praised Shrub for acting so strongly and swiftly over the Rumsfeld debacle? I almost puked.

HE WOULDN'T HAVE HAD TO DO ANY DAMAGE CONTROL IF HE HAD MADE SURE OUR TROOPS HAD THE ARMOR THEY NEEDED TO BEGIN WITH INSTEAD OF ****TY VIETNAM-ERA FLAK JACKETS!!!!!!!

But, ah yes, this is the man who will keep us safe. I wouldn't trust the bastard to light a match, let alone protect this country and our troops in that quagmire overseas.

And don't even get me started on The Passion vs. F9/11. Good cripes.

It doesn't help that Buchanan is filling in for Scarface, either.

Not that you'd know it by watching him, though.

Buchanan is worse than Scarface because of the simple fact that he's a fundie to end all fundies. He has so much religious venom that he's unwatchable, especially when rleigious topics come up on the show. Gimme an Ambien and send me to bed, dear, because I can't bear watching him flap his jaw.

Does Ann the Man ever make a valid point?

We had a conversation at lunch today that we were surprised that the current neocons did not haul out G. Liddy to be in the current admin.

AND - no Anne rarely does

MY WORD - they have Pickering on now. Personally, I think Pickering was not that bad based on his record. But, I cannot say I am sorry to see him step down

Welcome back (from your drink). He had a "nephew" but the question was "Would you send your kid over there?" Which of course would require an answer of "NO F-ING WAY, NOT ON YOUR F-ING LIFE!!!"

Ann's point wasn't a point at all, it was smoke and mirrors. He was asked if he would send his kid over there to Iraq. He then bull****ted his way out of the question and pointed to his nephew. In Afghanistan.

I know - but awhile back I said I thought it was relevant that the Congressman had a relative over there, even if it was not his kid and it was not what MM asked and it was not in Iraq. But, I agree, there is a diff. between that and sending your own kid - I think this because I would not want to send my nephew. But, I get the diff.
