Default I rarely beg, but...

I have been trying to get through to Fanfire to come through with their part of the bargain of a platinum package. They still have failed to send me the signed tourbooks. Any attempts to get answers have been stonewalled. I sent correspondence to Fleetwood's and Buckingham'e e-mail handler and to Kinney of the Nicksfix with my story. Please....please...please, if you have been wronged by Fanfire in any way, do what I did. we need to be more active. We need to let the band know how terribly we are being treated. Don't take it. If there is enough of an outcry, there is a chance that we may get the band's attention to all this. I have such a terrible history with anything on this level with SN/FM related events (AHI '98, most notably) that I am not going to just slink away this time. I am just sick of all this.

I am posting this on several yahoogroup things as well, so sorry for what seems repetitive.

You should fax your complaints to the bands' managers...Let them know the whole story, without being terribly rude. They definetely need to get you your tourbooks, esp. for the outrageous price on those plat. packages. I personally would get an attorney and have then send fanfire a letter.

Default Ain't Too Proud To Beg (anyone know who sings that)

First, you shouldn't have to beg at all. This whole fan club debacle is definitely a learning experience for any Fleetwood Mac fans that hadn't been burned in the past. Never again.

Forget using email to contact them, as they are probably backed up for years.

Use this Fan Fire phone number:
1-800-242-8881

You'll have to listen to music for a bit and hear that familiar message that your conversation may be recorded, etc. Too bad this company (and MOST companies, I might add) have never learned to utter the words: Clearly we have screwed up. We'll make your order right. We apologise for any inconvenience.

You need to have your order number and give it to them when you finally do get through. They can look it up on the spot and see what your order was, etc.

THEN they will tell you they will get back to you and make it right.

Get the name of the person you speak to and write it down.

That should be the end of it.

It worked for me. Good luck.

The Temptations.

(A pathetic reason to end the posting hiatus, but there you go. )

Default I rarely....

I would love to get in touch with their managements, but I wouldn't know where to begin to find these outfits. I only have their names, no locations or numbers.
As far as fanfire is concerned, I used to call them semi-regularly with my order number and everything. I get the usual, "shannon isn't in.....she will call you back",which she doesnt. I have even gotten rude, flip remarks like "Oh, Fleetwood Mac? Haven't they broken up yet?".. I call again, the cycle repeats. Plus I don't trust them at this point. I fear that they will forge signatures just to get rid of me. So I am letting things go on the channels I have chosen as of now.

Thumbs down Fed-up With Fanfire

I HAD SIMILAR BAD EXPERIENCES WITH FANFIRE.
I paid the premium for platinum tickets and although the seats were great, the service from fanfire was awful. Forget about getting any help from Shannon!! I found her to be useless and a liar. Rob at fanfire helped me out twice...call him. He finally got me my tourbooks after months of phone calls, e-mails and waiting for everyone else at fanfire. Thanks for posting the management info. I am going to write to them and tell them that fanfire should get some training in customer service!!!
Does anyone out there know of another way to get great seats when FM or it's solo members come to town?

Don't even bother with them, they're complete assholes. Try Lindsey's management first, they're very good.

Wait it out on Ticketmaster. I got front row to all the UK gigs a week or so before the actual concerts

Agreed. LB's management seem to be the most helpful

Just curious, have you had, or heard, of a bad experience with them? I just wanna know...

Anyway that's pretty fu*king sad when, with those prices ecspecially, fanfare would just say "we'll call you back", and blow you off. what a joke

WOW, Lucky for you!
Does waiting untill the last minute through Ticketmaster work in the U.S?
I'd hate to fly over the "pond" for each concert

It does work in the US as well...I bagged a front row ticket to FM just two weeks before a show....granted that's the only time I've tried that - but yeah - I hear that works here too

Default Do not even attempt to ask....

for Sheryl Louis...she is the most illusive of all managers . Just ask for Stacey her PA...Stacey is very helpful. You can communicate through her with Sheryl, BUT be very polite and rational.

As for Fanfire it is part of a larger animal, Signatures Network Inc. one of the the head honchos there is Rick Fish......or direct e-mail / snailmail to or call and plague the hell out of them.

Artist Relations:
[email protected] /> or 415-247-7400

Signatures Network
2 Bryant Street, Suite 300
San Francisco, CA 94105

General Inquiries:

The UK fans have been dealt a blow or two by the former fanclub....it is history now but it seems that they have never got off that bad foot they started on.....When the wheels of commercialism come into play with people who have a genuine passion for a band and its music...all the commercial bods want to do is cash in. They have no REAL interest in how the fans are treated and rarely give fans what they want unless big dollars can be made. Give a true fan to run the fanclub with a few helpers and then you could see change......maybe.

Louise
