Kerry refused to take Clinton's antigay advice

[GateandGarden]

I hate to think this is true, though I know it very well could be, knowing what happened with the DOMA and "Don't Ask, Don't Tell," but it pains me to think that Clinton would be so hateful to the gay community. I've always been under the impression that he isn't a bad guy, and I think it's incredibly reprehensible to treat the gay community this way. (Or any minority, for that matter). I want to believe that this isn't true because of that. If it is, then I'm obviously happy that Kerry refused to take that advice and I feel better about him, though it's depressing because he's not our president.
