Okay, I'm coming out of lurkdom because I'm getting a glimmer of hope...

Washington has been called for Kerry (11 votes), bringing him up to 199.

Other states leaning Kerry's way:

Oregon - 7
Nevada - 5
Wisconsin - 7
Minnesota - 10
Iowa - 10
Michigan - 17
TOTAL: 56

If Kerry wins these states (and my math is correct) he's at 255! Only 15 more needed!

Unless he pulls, as of now about 350,000 votes in Florida, which he has systematically been unable to do essentially all night, I cannot see Jerry winning in Florida even considering the alleged advance votes and the absentee ballots (again, the margin of W's win has stayed fairly much the same all night). As for Ohio, it is too soon to tell.

I do not want to see THAT happen.

Agreed! I've given up on Florida, but Ohio has my stomach churning.... my husband is from Ohio, and says voters there can be very unpredictable. Bush's current margin there makes me very nervous.

And some of Kerry's leads in the states I mentioned are still small. But at least it's hope!

I predict a) lawsuits, b) 4 more years of that scumbag Bush running this country into the ground, into debt, and continuing to turn us into an international laughing stock.

Pity, but I think it's going to happen. Evidently, that's what it will take for the idiots who support that bumbling jackass to wake up.

Talking Wtf????

CBS is giving Flori-DUH to Bush

Bush 246
Kerry 207

Kerry has to win Ohio according to CBS to become the president...

But I dont trust CBS...

NBC is showing Sean "Puff daddy doo piffy puffy duffy" Combs...I wonder if he'll sing the "Vote Or Die" song from "South Park"?

No, they've already called that for Kerry.... CA is included in the 199 total. Otherwise, I'd be dancing in the streets right now, because California on top of even half of those other states would give it to Kerry!

W has for the most part maintained his margin over Kerry this evening in Ohio to wit:

U.S. PRESIDENT / OHIO

STATUS CANDIDATE VOTE VOTE % EV
Bush
(Incumbent)
2,154,140 51% 0
Kerry
2,027,229 48% 0
Badnarik
11,355 1% 0
Peroutka
9,692 0% 0

76% precincts reporting - Updated 12:11 a.m. ET

from cnn.com

So, I do not see Kerry winning Ohio and that saddens me.

I hate to say it, but I think Kerry has lost.

Oh well, maybe that a$$hole will give us $400 more dollars he can't afford to give us
