I usually sing with whoever is the lead singer. Harmonies are either Stevie or Lindsey since Chris's voice is too high for me. But, believe me, it's all BAD! I have a good time, though, so I guess that's really all that matters in the end.

Stevie- her songs are usually the easiest to sing.

It depends. I usually sing everyone's parts...but Chris a little less. I enjoy singing the harmonies much more than the leads. There are usually so many parts that work. And, it is fun doing them in different octaves. The one thing about Stevie singing in her lower range all the time is now I know I can sing all her leads in the right octave !

Couldn't do that in the early years.

Ok, well then I'm the FIFTH!

Really, I can't sing worth a damn, so when I do it (alone in my car) I usually sing with Stevie or Lindsey. Chris is too high for me too.

I like singing the whoa-oh-oh's in Eyes of the World on LIB--I think I've got that part down pretty well.

I usually sing the background part. I'm not one to steal the spotlight. I like to ad-lib throughout.....being part of the backup band gives me the freedom to do so.

It all depends on what parts I like, I know that I will sing along with Stevie/Lindsey/Christine all the time; just depends on which parts are the catchiest(sp?)lol. My range is closest to Chris's though.

I love harmony so I'm usually singing that. It's pretty easy, even within the Rumours line-up to find a harmony that none of them are singing but otherwise I think I pretty much sing Chris's parts.

I find when I start singing Stevie's lead parts I sing them like Cher Don't ask me why!

I'm so tone deaf that I just lip sync the tambourine.

I usually sing along with Lindsey's parts. Sometimes on a Chris or Stevie song, when Lindsey isn't singing I sing C/S's part, but when Lindsey comes in I switch to his parts. Sometimes I sing C/S's parts throughout. It depends on what I feel like singing.

I sing along with Chris's part the most since my voice is mid-range to high. I try to sing along with Stevie but her voice is so damn low! A good example is Gypsy-- I tried to sing that for the longest time but I just can't get my voice low enough for that register. It's a toughy vocally.

Umm... as a music student, all this talk of adding extra harmonies disturbs me greatly!

I'll bet most of you are just doubling parts in other octaves... The 3 Macsters would make a triad-chord, which is in itself 2 harmonies to a melody.

You can't really add a '4th' harmony unless you're singing something else, like a 7th or something (Music terms! :P), which probably wouldn't sound very good!

Even in the more current releases, there are extra vocals filling the triad... there's not much you can add!

Sorry... just a music nut.

sometimes you're right. but, i find a new blend every now and then. And also, what can be fun, is finding the harmony Stevie sang with herself, which is usually hard to discern, and not that prominent. And i say that a lot of times, fm harmonies are so seamless, that it is fun, and beneficial to the music, to bring out a lesser heard (but awesome) harmony. Seriously, to me, with this band, the vocal fun never ends...make up new ones, blend two into a different one, bring out one that's hard to hear...it's all good.
