lol...great question...I just sing with whoever is the lead...when there's the three part thing I sing with Stevie...lower range thing works better for me too

Pretty much I just sing anything...I love singing along with music...then I can't hear myself well and that works out much better than if I could hear myself hehe...I really can't sing well at all...

Oh, anything. Lóve figuring out the harder-to-hear harmony parts.
I even sing along with the guitar solo's.

I like to do Stevie and sometimes Lindsey, but when I sing "The Chain," I like to do Chris' part the most.

I find myself usually going for Lindsey's because I tend to sound a lot like him when I sing. Christine's parts are usually really tough to hit. But the good thing about the three-part harmony in most songs is that you can switch off at any point and not look/sound too bad Just like GYOW, you can pretty much do anything during that chorus and be good to go. I got up at a piano bar one time and sang that and I'm amazed (due to the fact that by that point I had a few beers in me) that I made it through.

The great thing about Stevie/Lindsey songs (Dreams, Angel, Beautiful Child, Crystal, etc. etc.) is that you can sing the lead while you're driving and be all into it, and when you pull up to a red light next to someone you can switch to 'back-up' and tune it down a notch so they don't see you

As for the guitar solos, I almost passed out trying to sing along to the guitar at the end of "Gypsy" one time. It's quite a load! "Eyes of the World" and "Wrong" are a lot of fun to sing too, and "Don't Let Me Down Again" which I think is one of my personal fav's.

Awesome question :-)

this is a great thread....i was just thinking this to myself the other day. i've always felt sort of funny all these years singing to stevie tunes....and i'm man enough to admit it! who cares anyway.

so....i sing whatever notes my voice allows me. sometimes i have good days and can sing in a higher key than others. on those days i sing the highest part of the harmony. on gyow, obviously i sing Lindsey's lead but i usually end up doing the middle part of the chorus. i'll attempt to do the high part but it's not always easy. sometimes you can hit a note and hold it there but you lose it when you have to enunciate the rest of the words. i can pretty much do Lindsey on the chain except the "still (hear you saying)" part i have to really concentrate. sometimes i'll end up doing stevie's part if it aint workin otherwise.

i've never taken voice lessons but it's something i'm interested in for sure. i love singing. i can hold a note and think i have a decent voice. got cut the smokes out. maybe i'll take lessons one of these days.

I usually do that too. When I sing I almost always sing lead. I can't really sing so it doesn't matter if I sing Lindsey, Chris, or Stevie. It's all the same for me.

I used to sing soprano in a choir, so I often go for the higher harmonies But the best high harmonies are Stevie's in her early days, for example her harmony on Say You Love Me, it kicks *ss
as for guitar solos, you should hear me wail the I'm So Afraid-bit
