Actually, I like that idea a lot. I'll keep a running commentary on the game. Tainted as it is, it will need someone to keep it honest. Here's my first report:

As of now, it seems the game has once again fallen into complete disarray. Jacob has now voided yet another round, this time to save Beautiful Child from the grips of oblivion. Sources tell me he caved to pressure from the Stevie fans who, having lost Sara early on, were out for blood when Beautiful Child lost fair and square, and decided to do everything they could in their power, even voting in absentia through the man running the game himself (!!) to reverse the fortunes of Stevie's songs and manipulate the outcome to their liking.

It is unclear at this point, since Jacob has failed to articulate it, whether the Over and Over round is invalidated too. It is complete mayhem, dear listeners. No one seems to know which way is north and right from left. Jacob's rulings have been so odd and inconsistent that a fair number of players have lost confidence in his ability to run the game and have started to drop out. And who can blame them? So it appears that the Stevie fans who pushed so hard to sway the game their way will prevail after all, but it will be a tainted victory, of that there is no doubt.

So, dear listeners, we await further word from Jacob on just what is going on. Is the Beautiful Child v. That's Enough For Me round still on or did it expire at 9 Eastern? If so, this poses very serious questions because the European players never had a chance to vote in the runoff. But if it is still on, when will it end? And does that mean the Over and Over round is voided too since the game has now regressed two rounds backward? And will there be a regular round concurrent with the runoff round?

Too many questions. Not enough answers, dear listeners. We remain baffled by this odd, and questionable, turn of events.

I intend to. My second report:

The wait continues.

As the midnight hour approaches, Jacob has yet to clarify how long the controversial, and some say unfair, BC runoff round will last. It remains unclear whether players outside of the North America will have a chance to cast their votes. As it is, with some players vowing to bow out of the tainted game in protest, the future of this competition looks murky at best.

As of now, the votes for dropping That's Enough For Me far outnumber those for Beautiful Child. And since this runoff was concocted to run while non-North American players, who earlier cast votes for Beautiful Child, are unable to vote, one wonders if the timing wasn't intended to keep them out and assure a victory for the supporters of Beautiful Child.

Indeed, suspicion runs rampant and questions remain. But no word from the man running the show.

I said I was leaving the game, not the thread. Besides, didn't you just step down?
