Let's let me figure out what I'm thinking. And what I'm thinking, and I know, happened two nights ago was that immunity was changed from one song to the other.

Carne, here's what happened:

Post #454: Jacob gave a freebie to the first person to reply to the thread and pick a song for immunity.

Post #455: GateandGarden replied with "Walk a Thin Line", a song which she had voted out in the past, so the decision was she was voting off the song, not giving it immunity.

Post #457: Jason asked for immunity for "Save Me A Place".

Post #461: Jason again clarified that immunity was for "Save Me A Place".

So there really wasn't a switch in the immunity song in this scenario, just a clarification. Therefore I submit again that once a song is given immunity and people have voted based on that, immunity should not be able to be changed.

I wanna know if my vote is one that makes sense. The only way to find that out is if you let me know which song has immunity. It's already 5 PM over here and I can't make anything of this round.

Patti, Jason changed his original immunity vote. He did it quickly enough that most people didn't see it.

I think the first song to have been given immunity should remain immune. It's only fair... But then again I don't hold or make the rules so...

Well if most people didn't see it (myself included), then no one voted based on his original immunity, whatever that was. So I still maintain that once immunity is given, it stays, if someone has already voted on the original immunity. Changing your vote is a whole different animal than changing immunity IMO.

I do think we ought to declare this round invalid and start over again.

Actually, I never changed my immunity vote. I used "save" in the original request for SMAP because the immunity grant used the word "save." Then I clarified when the thread starter asked if there was no immunity. I did however, change my original vote.

Hmm... my memory may be failing me, Jason. But I could swear -- if it wasn't you, then it might have been someone else -- I could swear I logged on and saw one song with immunity, then went back to the thread several minutes later and the immunity song had been changed.

Am I the only one who noticed this?

Gee Whiz. Feels like 5th grade up in this place. It's a thread on a message board for goodness sakes. How hard is it to just vote and leave it at that? It's becoming lame.

You don't have to respond. I didn't ask for your opinion.
