When I finally get a new scanner, absolutely. I must inspect the pictures for any embarassing bulges, though.

No, I buy them with a thin layer of linen on the inside. But I would never sit on a leather couch. Oh the humanity.

Well you know, I only read the tabloids when I'm on the elliptical because the print is big.

Oh Gosh--Goldie---are you sure you and I aren't related? I want that same bag! I have Wilbur the Pig--yes, I paid $$$ for a purse featuring a big ole' sequined & beaded and embroidered pig on the side. That's my favorite--and yes, I like Lulu too but haven't brought one yet. That reminds me. . I need to go shopping. . . .

I love Barry Bricken - it is my fav by far for dressy casual http://www.barrybricken.com/bb/thecollections.php?c=m

I also love Ralph Lauren (usually the Purple Label) and Hugo Boss.

I have a few things in Prada, D&G, and Versace. The thing about the Italian designers is when they are on it is hard to beat them, but when they are off they look just trashy. Plus, I am FINALLY back at a weight where I do not look like a sausage in them

For suits, I usually buy Hickey-Freeman as that seems to fit my 6'4" 37 inch arm frame the best. I LOVE Brioni and Oxford, but they are harder to find the right fit.

Speaking of that, when you are my size, it is VERY hard to buy long sleeve shirts. The sleeves are usually just too short at 35-36 inches long.

My fav. store probably is Neiman Marcus and hopefully during their semi-annual HUGE sale. I also like Sak's, but the one here is only OK in selection for casual stuff. I LOVE this little mens clothing store right by my house that a friend of mine owns. They are a little more expensive, but I never have to wait, they are very very nice, and it is cool to have personalized service - sometimes we go to lunch and come back and finish!!!!

BTW - I can vouch for gldstwmn having FABULOUS taste in clothing. We have shopped together on more than one occasion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We may not agree on politics--but you have have picked my favorite designers for men. And you've got some seriously expensive taste there my friend! It's tough for the very tall and the very short to find clothes that fit correctly. I'm 5'3, my Mom is 5'1, I've got a cousin who is 5'2, and an Aunt who is 5'0 and even petitie clothing sometimes needs to be altered. Then on the other extreme, I've got an Uncle who is 6'6, and a cousin who is 5'11 (female), and my sister-in-law is 5'11". These folks also report having a horrible time trying to find clothes that fit them correctly.

Thumbs down Let's just say...

my opinion of clothes shopping is a title of an Alice Cooper song:

"FLUSH the Fashion"

Nuff said.

I adore shopping.

I don't go for labels, ever. I just buy what feels good.

I just go to the malls. I am not very original. I like the Gap, Ny and Co and stores like that. I shop the occassional Target as well ( the t is SILENT folks)

I have no problems. I am 5'9 ,which is average anymore and everything fits. I have a hard time with the shirts. If I go to a little cheap no name store that has cute shirts for cheap, they won't fit. I have a chest and wider shoulders and so that can be frustrating.

MY best friend is 5'10 and weighs under 110, or just at sometimes. She is all legs and she can't ever find anything. She is forced to by pants in NY because she basically needs model pants. I don't envy her at all. I can go to GAP and ALWAYS find jeans that fit perfectly.

Shopping is fun. I just went on Thursday and got jeans at Gap and underwear at Victorias Secret ( I love that place, 5 for $20!!) and this great red purse that I have wanted so long and hot boots from Payless. I spent under $200 but got nice stuff. No one cares what label...just how it looks. If I were rich and if they didn't take all my credit cards away from me ( ) then I'd shop everyday. I really could.
