I"ll respond to your question. I can't really answer you because no gay Republican governor has ever had extortion perpetrated on him (or her) and has outed himself and then resigned. I don't have anything to compare it to where I'd go "Yeah, that guy should have quit" or "Yeah, that guy should have stayed." I did provide the Nixon comparison, which is about as close as I can come. The Ryan scandal doesn't count because he wasn't elected yet. Those are the only ones I can think of right now.

I don't know...when you keep quoting GardenStateGirlie and responding to my views, points, and sources, asking me if i'm "fooling" you with an article i'd presented, what were you expecting?

Telling me and other posters in a thread about the state of New Jersey possibly having the opportunity to vote for their own governor in a special election (should McGreevey outright resign immediately) that we shouldn't have one because it might be tainted is BS and what got me to reply to you in the first place. "Tainted" to you means not voting correctly, i.e. Democratic. THAT bothers me. I vote for the person and their views and not the party. I hope others do as well.
