In honor of Lux.... the Top Ten Led Zep thread

[The Tower]

Led Zeppelin are a world unto themselves. So why NOT a top ten list!! Besides, Lux can just cut and paste her "Top Songs of the 70's" and stick 'em in here...

1) Ten Years Gone
2) The Rain Song
3) Tangerine (yes, Lux, it IS that good!)
4) In the Light
5) Since I've Been Loving You
6) The Song Remains the Same
7) Down By the Seaside
8) Kashmir
9) The Battle of Evermore
10) Gallows Pole

[strandinthewind]

1. Kashmir
2. Fool in the Rain/All My Love
3. Stairway to Heaven
4. Black Dog
5. Rock And Roll
6. Whole Lotta Love
7. Immigrant Song
8. Misty Mountain Hop
9. Over The Hills And Far Away
10. In the Evening/Carouselambra

That was HARD - I LOVE LZ - as Stevie has said - just almost too much talent on stage. They were just great. I to this day often listen to them. In fact, In through the Out Door is in my car right now. Inj many ways, they remind me of my youth a little more than FM - and that is quite a statement

[gldstwmn]

1. Whole Lotta Love
2. Rock And Roll
3. Over The Hills And Far Away
4. Kashmir

7. Hey Hey What Can I Do
8. Heartbreaker-segue into Living Loving Maid
9. Going To California
10. In the Evening

Lux - Song Remains the Same concert/vid is showing on my cable tv here. How odd is that. I'm not watching it now, I just saw it in the TV guide. How cool would Japanese dubbing/subtitles be of THAT movie???

[estranged4life]

3."The Rain Song"
4."All My Love"

My fave Led Zep album has always been "In Through The Out Door" (Though I have all their albums). I recommend the 1990 boxed set "Led Zeppelin", The BEST boxed set ever created (Sure, There's other boxed sets with plenty of extras but for pure music LZ is my #1 pick!)
