New F. Club Presale Info- Seats??

Did anyone get the letter that just was emailed? It states this about presale tickets:

"We will email you your seat location within a few weeks of your purchase. If you are not satisfied with your seat location then email us back within 48 hours and we will refund your purchase. "

You apparently cannot SEE the seats you are getting and won't until a few weeks later? I don't know about everyone else but I can't afford to pay for TWO seats not knowing where they are and then wait to see where they are while maybe regular sale tix go on sale and I miss out on seats I can see thru ticketmaster. I don't think I"ll be participating in the presale this time around.

Any thoughts?

I just recieved that too. It's better than what they were proposing before-- that is, you wouldn't have known the location of your seats until you recieved them in the mail, *without* a "money-back guarantee."

I'm glad they added the refund policy as unfortunately I see them returning a lot of money when fans are unsatisfied with 28th row seats. But then again, I don't really trust a refund promise from a company that has not sent its members what they were supposed to recieve 2 months ago, and doesn't seem to answer any e-mails about it. Even with the money-back guarantee, I doubt I'll be purchasing tickets through the club.

Money back guarantee or not, I'm not paying $500 for a fifth-row seat that I could get on Ticketmaster for $125.

The Fanclub has resorted to ticket scalping!!! How ludicrous!!!

Does anyone here know anyone who purchased tickets for the Illinois show. In an e-mail I got about an hour ago from the Fan Club, they are claiming great seats were awarded. So, it would be great if we could confirm this.

Of course, they're only going to tell you about those that were satisfied with the tickets they ended up with for the IL show... I wonder how many were not. This still sounds weird to me. How will what they are doing effect those that are non-fanclub members chances of being in the first few rows? I'm still sketched out about the fanclub...I guess we'll see soon enough if they deliver what they promise

Well of course it will have SOME affect on non-members' ability to get great seats..but dont be fooled to think that ticketmaster hasnt gotten its hands on some great seats too...

According to the club all the tickets bought in the IL. presale wound up in the first 10 rows...but they did not mention this is probably because of all the talk about the fan club, a lot of people probably sat that presale out...because they had concerns.
So , they are offering a refund if you arent satisfied...this DOES show that they will most likely give out fans tix in the first 30 rows...although i doubt they will grant refunds to those with anything in first 30 rows, as that is all they were promised..

So - the first show in Madison, WI still does not have tickets available?

So what's the deal? You can only get one of two packages either for $500 or $950? I don't get it. Can't you just get normal tickets?

Well I WAS going to try the presale like last time but not if I can't see my seats. So I will do what I did last time and get my ticket off ebay. I got a 6th row in front of Lindsey ticket (two of them) and was thrilled and it was only $50 more than ticketmaster. And there were tons on ebay at the time. THen you can chose where you want to sit and how much to pay. Not a bad deal to me...(that's if ticketmaster of course doens't have good seats which I'll try first).

I do need a Denver show first!!!

theres no 950 dollar package...I havent heard anything about that..

Here's the options : $500 package (includes ONE 1-5 row seat, backstage pass, shirt, signed tourbook, etc.) you can only buy two of these packages....

The regular presale : You can purchase up to 4 Price level One ($125+) tickets in rows 1-30.....
