Want more new material or old material on the tour?

I don't like "Don't Stop" when the Fleetwood Mac "Army" (tm ChiliD) turns what used to be a burning blues shuffle into a lethargic & lumbering anthem. (To me it's just amazing that none of the other superior keyboardists like Dave Thoma or Brett Tuggle are able to play that tune with the punchy spice that the relatively inferior Christine McVie tosses off so easily.)

I could actually live without "The Chain" at this point, too, since it no longer gets very fired up. As for "Gypsy," it goes in my left ear & out my right. Or vice versa.

On the other hand, these are some of Fleetwood Mac's most beloved concert songs, so it's rather idiotic to believe the band shouldn't or wouldn't want to do them. Essentially, we're stuck with them.

Totally agree...with Jason's suggestions, that setlist would be killer! They keep on saying they're going to change it up for the summer 2004 tour....I must say I will be heartily PISSED if they don't! I mean, come on, playing the EXACT SAME setlist in the same city 3 times in the matter of a year?! Give me a break!

Count me as another one who thought this was a new thread! I just assumed the conversation was about the upcoming tour dates.

ANYWAY, also count me as another one who would love to hear old stuff -- but not the SAME old stuff. There's so much great old stuff they could bring out that people love and aren't sick of. Hey, it worked out well on The Dance: "Silver Springs is a great old song."

You also have to count me as another one that has a favorite old song that they do want to hear: Landslide (minus the act that accompanied it on last year's tour).

But I'll take whatever I get
