Love that album, too. Compared to WTWCT... it's genius, not boring, and completely off the charts creative! It's the Tusk of his solo career.

As a song, it wasn't his finest hour. But checking his recent post, he really looked very handsome there.

To try to please the audience would be considered unethical pandering, whereas today it is the one and only consideration, as music is nothing more than a vehicle to build a brand to sell, sell, sell.

It was his ethics that drove him to insist that Fleetwood Mac follow up Rumours with Tusk, and to record songs like Come, fully knowing that the majority of the simple minded namby pamby potential audience would not understand it, and that the potential audience were the sort of people who instinctively hate what they don’t understand. And for those of us who think Come frickin’ rules, there is no way to express the gratitude we feel that Lindsey followed his ethics, because if he merely gave the audience what they wanted, we’d have been deprived of some of our favorite music.

Lindsey is a dusty artifact of the past. Today’s popular artists wouldn’t dream of doing anything artistically that’s might even slightly alienate their audience. Is not fair to analyze Lindsey through a modern lens, because today’s paradigm mandates that the audience be made to feel like their reactionary opinions in comments sections and message boards actually have value. And the audience isn’t even capable of discussing paradigms.

In any case, the video about “the new album” is clearly from at least two years ago, so I’ll believe there’s a new album when I see it. If it does happen, I hope that he stays true to his ethics, and the album contains songs that will be hated by the lame clownshoes who don’t understand Come or who say that Go Insane isn’t “the Lindsey they knew”. It will be glorious.
This is 100% the analysis that fits Lindsey's mindset. I think a lot of his perspective was shaped by the 1977-1987 period where the rest of the band would have made Rumours over and over, and he fought against it. I respect his insistence on following his muse, but I think anyone could see that there is some overcorrection. The guy with impeccable pop instincts who was one of the architects of Fleetwood Mac (White Album) and Rumours was him, and his influences were all fairly melodic and pop until he heard some of the punk of the late 70s and began to branch out.

I think there are a lot of people (including his bandmates) who feel like this "ethical line" was an overcorrection, and that sometimes he insisted on producing stuff that was the opposite of Rumours for the sake of being the opposite of Rumours. I sometimes agree with that -- I've never liked Come or Red Rover, and get varying mileage off of the stuff on Law and Order and the album tracks on Mirage. I could do without the moans in Big Love and the barking on Holiday Road. There are production choices that I haven't loved both on SYW (Running Through the Garden), and some of his recent solo albums (vocal processing etc.) But he's got the right to make the music he wants.

And while I'm a fan, he has to realize that his choices have sacrificed a broader appeal. Though, without the kind of persona and songwriting that someone like Stevie brought to the table as well as her ambition to be a star, he might not have achieved large scale solo success anyway. So, he might as well follow his muse -- he can afford to do it musically and financially. And it's been an interesting ride for the rest of us, and it's likely what has kept his music feeling so fresh after all of these years.

He was so nelly in some of the Tusk studio footage, it was hard to believe he was straight.

If, he would stop with the finger in an electric socket hairdo, and choose a different lipstick shade.
He still is a handsome man.

Lindsey used to post just old photos, memories, and the release of BN. Nothing about the new album, but he (or his media team) was active, posting about once a week on average.

But now he hasn't posted anything in over a month. I hope everything is fine.

Today is 69 days since his last post (Fb, Twitter, Instagram). Has anyone read any news about him, any of his activities, lately?

I know many artists don't post often, but Lindsey (or thru his team) had been doing it once a week for a while, and then he stopped in December and hasn't posted since. It's strange.

Also seems Kristen's new beau makes an appearance in the Epstein files, though not as any great friend of the pedo but rather as someone Epstein and his circle were perhaps trying to cultivate, which doesn't appear to have worked-- though Sternlicht did go to Epstein's house for dinner after Epstein had been convicted.

Meanwhile Kristen seems to have become more entwined in Barry's friend circle:
