I just heard Roy Orbison died on dec 6 1988, so two days ago it has been 37 years. I looked for details of Mystery Girl, his last album. And to my surprise I read Burnette and Vito as additional musician in a pair of tracks. Even Mike Campbell collaborated too (though that 2018 lineup was not Fleetwood Mac to me ).

I loved Roy and Traveling Wilburys songs.
I want you on my Jeopardy trivia team.

Was screening the film, Jay Kelly (George Clooney). One scene, in a bar, Tango In the Night was playing in the background. (Title track)

In the Netflix tv show NORTH OF NOTYH, about first-nation people in an Inuit village, an Inuit version of Dreams was featured. It actually sounded right.

Just watched Jay Kelly just to listen the Tango song. I wonder how they chose it for that scene. Can't find a connection, but it was cool to hear a not-so-well-known song.

It was truly "unexpected" They were doing a mental "Tango"

Not exactly in the spirit of this thread….but over Christmas my daughter was given a Rumours vinyl from a relative. She’s 13. I’ve subtly tried to interest her in FM but not forced it on her and she’s always been ‘too cool’ to acknowledge. Apparently she’s privately expressed to others how much she loves FM. So when she unwrapped rumours vinyl, it was totally unexpected from me. So much pride hearing her in her room with her door shut blasting the opening to Second Hand News. Ahhhh

Now I can start sharing all my vinyls with her, one after the other.

Unexpected!
