Thanks for posting. Some of these photos are famous and made their way into the Rumours insert. Although Chicago and The Steve Miller Band are great, I would have preferred The Eagles with them earlier that summer.

I can smell the stink from here! Some of the pics of Stevie aren't particularly flattering, but I guess they didn't have a place to shower. The pics of Lindsey in the shed with his guitar are really nice and I don't think that have seen them before.


It must have been tremendously difficult for Jenny (and their 2 beautiful daughters) to be around knowing and seeing first hand Mick and Stevie's affair. Probably even harder when she not around and imagining what is going on. Same with Lindsey. Trying to get over Stevie only to find out that she now with the married drummer and they're in the same band together. Even if it wasn't known, partners have a way to knowing by the way their mate is looking and interacting with someone else.

I love the pictures and think everyone looks great especially Stevie. Chris's sense of humor always coming through with her sort of photo bomb antics which made for great pictures.
No doubt the affairs hurt everyone. Jenny also cheated on Mick with a band member but Mick did not fire himself when he did it. I think his marriage to Jenny was nearing the end or about to end by the time the band found out about Mick and Stevie's affair. Although some of the timing is inconsistent. Pre-Tusk they had their affair. I seem to remember Mick writing in his first book that Lindsey confronted Mick about Stevie while smoking a joint together even earlier than the Tusk era. My memory is not clear but I think Mick denied it or the subject was let go. Lindsey was no fool and knew what was going on. Mick and John were always banging groupies in every city so monogamy and Fleetwood Mac was non-existent for everyone.

Great find…Never have seen many of these photos from a very exciting time for the band.
