It's always struck me how folks consider some of the production choices so weird/strange/manic etc etc on Tusk. Maybe for its time it could be considered a little weird - especially for a band like Fleetwood Mac. However, there were plenty of other artists creating really strange albums and music within the same era that makes Tusk look really pedestrian. Heck, the Beatles were recording things at half speed and then speeding it up back in 1966. It's still a pop album compared to Bowie's Lodger album released in '79.
