I understood that, too. But I don't know how she told Lindsey and what he understood.

About the best friends thing, I do have second thoughts. One of my best friends from the 90s now lives in Chile since the early 2000s. Actually he and his wife (who I know since we were in kindergarten) are both my best friends, and I still think of them that way. When we were young we shared so many very special moments, that to me, are very special episodes of my life.

But nowadays we don't talk often. Specially since they had kids and were kids (already grown), they didn't have time to call or chat. But every time they come to Lima or I go to Santiago we met and it's like it was yesterday.

And when I learned he got cancer (and happily got over it) I flew immediately to Chile to see him and they were more than happy I was there. So to me, best friends no necessarily means to talk or share moments constantly. But that's me. I don't know if Stevie was sincere and what Christine thought about her friendship. I just say it's possible they were still best friends. Or call special friends if you want it.

So Lindsey was fired because he's evil. Yet Harry Styles performed The Chain with Fleetwood Mac: https://www.reddit.com/r/FleetwoodMa..._the_infamous/
She doesn't want to see Lindsey ever again yet every interview, concert, or speech has Stevie mentioning Lindsey. In her own solo induction speech into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, she mentioned Lindsey's name multiple times, Harry did, and Lindsey was in the video package for her solo induction. She didn't even say Mick, John, or Christine's name in her induction speech, why did she mention Lindsey's? Per Stevie's historical account, Mick and Fleetwood Mac wanted Stevie in their band and took Lindsey as a favor to her or because they felt bad for him.

Stevie has eliminated anyone from her circle who would challenge her. For those five years she brags about spending at "San Jose State," she doesn't come off as a student with a great amount of intelligence. That's why she hired Irving to protect her.

Christine was her best friend in the whole world. But now she was a different best friend: a musical soulmate - yet Stevie never made a duo album with Christine or had her on a solo recording.

What a line of crap about being so busy. Was she forced to go out on a casino setlist tour for two years? What did she do between all of those long breaks in between tour legs. She bragged about recording Songs From The Vault in weeks. Hasn't released an album in 10 years? Blame her uninspired 2 year tour that she was forced to do. The truth is she was lazy.

Also claiming she's youthful for 76? She hardly moves on stage anymore but for the shaking of her head during Gold Dust Woman. And you can see videos online of her needing to be walked by people.

Is Karen like a home health aide now? Might be time for a care home for Stevie. She does not sound intellectually well.

God bless you for sharing this. I am praying for Stevie. My goodness, reminds me of my aunt who had dementia.

She kind of does sound a bit demented. Beside the sociopath stuff.

And the digs at Lindsey and his status a musician in the industry. Lord, professional much? The interviewer did bait that, but still.

I have to say, that interviewer was AWSOME! Usually during interviews with anyone in FM, I find myself thinking “why didn’t they ask this question or that question,” but I sure can’t say that here. Although there were a couple of times I wished they had followed up a bit more. And I was thrilled the interviewer didn’t waste paragraphs regurgitating their romantic history.

Very fascinating interview.

No questions about releasing Buckingham Nicks, that response would have been interesting.

I have deep regrets now not seeing Fleetwood Mac without Chris. I missed Hells Bells, TNT, and Back in Black.

She said the brought the Rimes song to "play" for him...not to perform it...

Not sure where people are getting that she intended it to be performed except their imaginations.

Yes, they were so hard rock.

All the negativity around Lindsey Buckingham and the revisionism around her relationship with Christine (besties but hasn't spoken for two years, but besties, etc.) was quite a turn-off.

Assholes b/c people ask why she wears a mask nearly five years after the forever flu? Lame, lady.

I could do without the her takes on politics or big reveals about her "tipped uterus." The latter was mildly interesting though, I suppose.

And her demo of The Chain, that she claims she "found." Does that mean on YouTube, like she "found Secret Love? Or did she actually *find something new?*

That bit about her being a "bigger icon in that regard" was unnecessary, I thought.

Here is a link to the Maxwell store, which may have been the most interesting tidbit, for me personally. https://www.maxfieldla.com/

The fact that she’s presenting herself as this liberal Democrat lighthouse is comical. I don’t care what anybody says about people kissing on television. I’m gay and Madonna, Britney, and Christina broke down a barrier by kissing at the VMAs and Stevie viciously attacked Madonna for that. I am not a Madonna fan but Madonna is bisexual. That was known before 2003, in the 90s. A true liberal Democrat would not have spoken the words Stevie did. And she said Madonna was too old to kiss Britney and Christina. Stevie said that at age 55. And here Stevie is talking about everything she can do at age 76 now! This lady is so Trumpian in her ways it’s sad. And she wishes him well to go play golf…she should wish him to prison!

It’s obvious that she’s an icon, that’s the interviewer kissing up. I don’t consider Lindsey an icon. But Stevie attacks in the press. She couldn’t call Lindsey herself to tell him he was done. She could have had Irving on the call as well and had it recorded.

It pained me to see how insecure she still is and forever will be. Money and fame alone can't cure one's inner issues. Clearly.

Lies unfurled, in the eyes of the world.

I think the interviewer baited her. He was carrot carrot carrot, soft stick... etc.

Agree w/ BWboy, he got a lot out of her. It was painful at times to read her responses.

So she did the collaboration with Leanne Rimes before MusiCares and then she wanted to record it AGAIN with Lindsey?
