In terms of popularity (including outside the fans, beyond Generation X), Dreams is kind of the "Hotel California" or the "Stayin’ Alive" of Fleetwood Mac.

I would say that GYOW is their Hotel California.

Don't Stop is pretty close to an anthem. But GYOW is the band's most forward rock song that charted. Rock stations still play it even if they may not play much else from the band. The band sensed that too because they made it their closer. Even in Mick's book (where are you Villavic) he said they would turn up the volume during Lindsey's guitar solo in Japan and blast them out of the arena during the guitar jam.
I love Lindsey's playing but he always saw himself as so many other things than a guitar player. The songs from Lindsey I like the most are when he jams.
Long story short, its their most guitar and rock orientated single. Post Rumours the band switched over to folk rock, soft rock, and pure pop.

Yep, I agree. And Go Your Own Way has always been the song that represented Fleetwood Mac to me the most. My top 10 list may vary day to day, but GYOW is always my #1.

I would agree. I hear Everywhere, literally Everywhere. I heard it in Paris, London, on a cruise ship, even Barcelona.
