I follow Sara on Twitter and she said she heard from Mick and he is in LA and fine, but they didn't know about the restaurant. Seeing the devastation on the news is just heartbreaking

This is so sad. I was in Lahaina last week as part of a 2 week vacation. It's such a cool, artsy, hippie old whaling town that rolls into the sea. I was at Mick's store and restaurant, but more devestating to me, are all the small family businesses that are now gone on this closely settled street.

Absolutely frightening videos of the whole area. We rag on Mick a lot (and rightfully so) but I certainly don’t want to see his business, his employees, or himself affected like this. I hope everyone is safe.

Maui and the Lahaina community have been my home for several decades. This is a devastating moment for Maui, and many are suffering unimaginable loss. Fleetwood's on Front Street has been lost and while we are heartbroken, our main priority is the safety of our dear staff and team members. On behalf of myself and my family, I share my heartfelt thoughts and prayers for the people of Maui. We are committed to supporting the community and those affected by this disaster in the days and months and years to come.

Dennis Dunstan just confirmed that it's gone.
--- Praying for all my friends on Maui with the devastating fires. My closest friend Mick Fleetwood has lost his iconic and much loved restaurant ”FLEETWOODS” along with his adjoining House of Fleetwoods which was home to his priceless collection of memorabilia .!! Im both devastated and heartbroken.!! I can confirm he is safe !

When I was there in 2020 Mick's vintage car was there in the shop... don't think it was a Model A but something about that old. Was it a green truck or car?? The one he's had forever.
I almost bought one of (Neal Preston's?) signed large photos of Stevie up on her roof with the wind blowing her around....The shop had quite a nice collection of prints and other merch

There was something comforting knowing somewhere far far away Mick Fleetwood might be chilling out in his nice restaurant in Maui. That's where Christine first came back onstage.
And now that's gone too... |

I really feel for him. He lost a lot in the past 10 months. It breaks my heart.

Did the restaurant showcase any Fleetwood Mac memorabilia? If so, hopefully the memorabilia was able to be saved.

Lots of large, framed photos of the band over the years on the walls when I was there in early 2020. I'm sure those can be replaced if the photographers have the negatives. The shop downstairs had limited edition (and I think signed by the photog) prints of famous photos of the band/members of the band/ other rock stars. You ordered the ones you wanted and they made them up and shipped them to you. So the original photos and negatives should be with the photographers. It was Morrison Gallery I think. Mick's antique truck was in there also which of course can't be replaced. Otherwise there was a lot of somewhat generic/touristy things like tee shirts and mugs that weren't FM specific. Dunno if he kept any musical equipment or sound/light equipment for the shows he put on (either his band or the FM cover bands etc) in the restaurant. And of course, all the kitchen equipment and restaurant furniture and all is a big financial loss. Unclear to me if they own the building or lease it.
