I agree those two verses in Edge of Seventeen probably her very best writing in her body of solo work, nothing compares or comes close. Live however, I've always been a bit of a detractor on how well she does the song justice. Sure, the amazing instrumental and driving rhythm makes for a great show, but even back to the Bella Donna tour, dropping the "wing" portion to a lower key sucks the life out of the song, in the same vein as "it's only right and me" in Dreams. I have always found this frustrating even going back in my 47 year fan journey, while understanding she can't push her voice there night after night, it just does not work.
