As much as some people here hate Stevie, I’d like to think that folks can be reasonable. Stevie is genuinely sad, just like Mick and John and Lindsey, and it’s unfortunate that comments like that are making the rounds here. If people want to demonize Stevie, can you not use Christine to do so? Just continue complaining about how she destroyed FM. There’s plenty of fodder there and that seems to be a people pleasing subject on this message board.

And I don’t mean to single you out, jbrown. Your posts are mostly reasonable, I just chose to respond to your because it was the latest one that mentioned Christine. I just feel icky reading other people’s comments about Stevie “exploiting” Christine’s death because she is doing a tribute to her.
I don't feel singled out. I just see Nicks different than you. It obviously was a joke, but the joke is that she is so hungry for ego and attention, I could see her irritated and jealous of any attention or award Christine's music gets.

When Bill Clinton chose Don't Stop, Stevie kept acting like it was her song. The speeches at the end saying she brought Christine back. It goes on and on.

Stevie's tribute did get to me. I cried with her at the end of the song. I felt her pain. Some people see her even differently than I do. It's ok Bwboy. It's a forum. Nobody is trying to offend you or me.

BW, we make fun of Stevie because she's become ridiculous. A caricature. She IS a total attention wh*re, and the world is all about her.

At this point you and many of the other regulars here are caricatures yourselves, and just as much of an attention wh*re.. You have been posting almost the same insults for close to 10 years and your observations are just as stale as the setlists you complain about. Jesus, MOVE on.

There is no point to visit this forum more than 2-3 times a year now because the SAME conversations take place. I logged in for the first time since October 2022 to see comments on Landslide tribute. I couldn't take logging in after Christine's death because I knew even that event would be marred by the same insults about Stevie and Mick.

I loved both of Mick(Eulogy) and Stevie's tribute. I haven't had so many tears from a Landslide live, ever. You can tell Stevie really loves her. It was beautiful.

You've been sorely missed. I now need to see my physician...

Some wheat germ, cream corn, and a Mike Pence speech and she'll be fine.

Stevie is the Pence person. She had the Republicans in her Show Them The Way video, she dedicated Landslide to George H.W. Bush, and she said Harry wearing a dress on the cover of Vogue was crazy. No wonder why she plays Alabama so much!

Honey, you need to take down your Pence porn posters in your room. I'm afraid your brain, or what's left of it, is turning to mush.

Thank you for your sincere reply, jbrowns. I’ve been told I have rose colored glasses here, but the fact is, I want to believe that Stevie has good intentions by including a tribute to Christine. Just like I want to believe that Lindsey would have good intentions if he did a tribute to Christine. Or Demi Lovato if she did a tribute. It just isn’t hard for me to believe that Stevie liked Christine, because I believe that Christine was good to Stevie. Same thing with Lindsey. I believed Mick was sincere when he performed his tribute to Christine at the Grammys, along with Bonnie and Sheryl. 100%. I don’t think he did it so he could be on TV. If believing they truly liked Christine means I have rose colored glasses on, I’m fine with that.

Again, thanks for your sincere reply, and I’ll continue working on not being so sensitive.
