“Talk To Me” was written by Chas Sandford who’s a professional songwriter and publisher. He specifically writes songs for others to sing. He also wrote John Waite's "Missing You.”

Doesn’t matter. They were recording their album at Sound City. Lindsey and Stevie heard it and Lindsey reworked it for Buckingham Nicks/Fleetwood Mac. It wasn’t being shopped around.
