Question What house is this?

I just read in other thread that Fleetwood Mac spent time in Miami in the 70s. So I was looking for any pic of that time. Not interested in shows but in spare time. Didn't find anything.

But I found this link, about a house in Santa Monica, "once the home for several members of Fleetwood Mac". After Benifolds I don't remember any big house where the band lived. And being a big mansion, must be expensive so I guess imposible for the early days of the Rumours lineup. Does anybody know about it?

The page mentions it was also the background setting for the film Beverly Hills Cop.

When I met Lindsey at the meet and greet a few years ago he mentioned how much time the band spent in Miami. Many think of CA for the recording of Rumours but much of it was recorded in Miami. I think the band stayed around Key Biscayne for the sessions. During the Miami stop with On With The Show Chris mentioned how much she loved Miami. I dont live too far from this studio today.

I’ve always wondered where their Rumours Miami house was too. We know the eagles were there at the same time recording Hotel California at 5242 N. Bay Road nearby and that’s when SN & Don first got together. He apparently sent all those gifts to the shared FM house in Miami and that’s why it was so awkward - Linds was right there with her when they came and it was just a few months after the break up in Sausalito. IIRC Second Hand News and Go Your Own Way were both written right around that time at the Miami house. Mick mentioned something in his book about their rented house having a backyard with a gross algae-filled pool and overgrown grass, I wonder if that’s the tall grass LB’s talking about about in SHN lol

I'll bet Linds and Christy were hanging out together. Until Mickey and Jack got word of it.

Ooh, interesting.

Perhaps Lindsey explored a range of alternate lyrics before settling on the ones we know.

I know you're hoping to find
A pool that won't give you E. coli...

One thing I think you should know...
Love's like algae and I think it's starting to grow

When pool lime's bad
When pool scum's tough
I'll lay me down in the tall grass
While the Clorox does its stuff
