Boy you just can’t help yourself here can you? You have to stir the pot even when there’s nothing to stir it about. All I said is this board would be a lot better place without you. That doesn’t mean I wish you harm or dead. What a joke. Can you just go back to the other boards and leave us Stevie fans alone please? I don’t see the point of always coming here and being nasty. All you wanna do is make trouble.

You're the one that comes here name calling. I've never called you anything. And you DID write that, and then edited your post.

Wow Stevie’s voice sounds super rough on that 30-second snippet that was posted. I wonder if she chose to sound like that all the way through.

Could be. Seems it's a sort of Cheek to Cheek(Gaga and Tony) flavor. I.E. Gaga's voice takes on a character.
I like how Stevie's voice. I this Chris' voice is basic and has no life to it.

It's thoughtful of her to count "One, two, three" at the start, to give you a chance to rush to turn it off.

Yikes, that really isn't a pleasant sound.

I wonder also why her recorded vocals are not as good as her live vocals. For me hearing Crystal from Practical magic was a bit of a turn off. Her vocals were not that great. I haven't cared for her recorded vocals much after that.

She's really carved herself a niche of guesting on really unmemorable duets and I struggle to even call them duets. It's usually a verse and some harmony and thats it.

The clip is so brief that a judgment is barely possible, but I like those few seconds. I’m the opposite of sleepless child in that I prefer the studio vocals to the live vocals lately. The studio seems to give Stevie more dynamic space, and she doesn’t have to compete with a band onstage to be heard. Stevie and Chris Isaak have a nice retro gel. When she works with him on an old song, she puts aside her narcissistic “Stevie Nicks” thing (or the song puts it aside for her). Thoughts, JB?
