Keith Urban does Second Hand News.
I'm sorry the old goat is included. It was the only version I found on YouTube. I was there, too! And when he started Edge of 17, with her shaking her head no. Without her backup singers, it was horrible. https://youtu.be/sWzRp8PkaOg

I first learned of Kottke’s recording of WT from Rickie Lee Jones, who was working with him at the time. She posted on her old website about it. (She used to chat with us fans on the forum.)

I did sound for Leo once, and had no idea. He started WT, and I was shocked!

Bejeezus, that voice on Warm Ways freaked me out.
Almost as deep as Chris.

Sugar Daddy: Live cover by The Long Players: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wdrw3taMU88
Okay I know no one really likes this song, and I'm not shocked that this is the ONLY cover I could find of it, but Sugar Daddy actually seems like it would be a fun song for the right band/artist!

I read that he's done SHN in his set for years. He (with special guest $tevie) played the free New Year's Eve concert in Nashville NYE before last(he also played the previous year with Styx). It's 3 blocks from my condo, so a free concert(even with $tevie) is hard to resist.

Shirley Eikard, the talented Canadian singer-songwriter who penned Bonnie Raitt’s “Something to Talk About,” scored a top 30 single with “Say You Love Me” in Canada BEFORE the Mac did there or in the US.
