I was at a show in Massachusetts, The Dance, maybe, where she mistakenly thought she was in New York. She charmed her way out of that one too -- not easy when Red Sox and Yankees rivalry is always bordering on white hot.

Its easy to mix up cities and states. They had just played South Carolina the previous show. During On With The Show Christine also flubbed the city Greensboro and called it Greenfield (or something).
During Christine's 1984 solo tour she opened the show with "Alright Detroit" which would have been fine but she was in Pittsburgh. She apologized the rest of the show for that.

I'm not a big SN fan at the moment, but I can certainly forgive this type of flub. It's not like she said, "Good evening, Budokan," or something way out in left field. She was in the ballpark!
