That is a sad article for a few reasons but what makes me most frustrated is the confirmation that no new music is forthcoming from this band. Notice Christine hinted that she’d be totally into recording an EP and that she loves writing songs. But Stevie’s and (presumably Mick’s) insistence on touring into next year frustrates that.

I really want another CM/LB record but she is hitching her wagon to this train wreck of a band. She’s 75. How many more years does she have to record the new songs she wants to write and sing? Instead of saying “I already have enough $ and want the last phase of my career to be vibrant and creative” she is opting for more money.

maybe there will be. it would probably kill LB, so they just might do it!

Well, she should have stayed on Lindsey's side if she wanted to release more new music.

My thoughts exactly. She boarded the wrong boat for that.

I don’t disagree with you and wished she had. I think she’s now wishing that, too.

So it's looking like from his wife's post, that NO ONE from the band has contacted him since his illness. Of course they do it in front of a crowd to save face, but NOT where it counts. These people are VILE. How could I have been so wrong?
