Are you smoking crack? Lindsey made that song a hit.

Why couldn't Lindsey make more of his own 'great' songs hits?

I don't know, why can't Stevie make an album without a producer helping her, or write more songs on her own?

When was Stevie's last hit again? about 30 years ago?

Everyone has producers. Most hits have co-writers.

How they are treating him is absolutely horrible. Especially that last line from the email. What a heartbreaking read. And who the f wanted to ditch John on the tour because of the cancer scare?!

Thank you, the level of ignorance with this group is incredible.

Oh my. Things will get so ugly going forward. This is absolutely heartbreaking. It's forever altered how I will hear FM music.

I don't even like Lindsey, but this is just ridiculous. Try to listen to the infamous Gypsy-Demo that Stevie brought into the studio. This one here is the mercifully short version, I've heard a 20 minutes long version once, but only because I couldn't flee.

Nice try, but that is not the demo, that's an early FM take, as it is clearly stated on the Youtube site. As it is, it's proof to the point how much the band contributed to the success of that song, how much production was needed to make this little bit into a song in he first place.

That is really painful and while the very basic bones of the song are there, there is literally zero chance that song would've been the hit it was without Lindsey (and for that matter, Chris, Mick, and John too). Stevie has had some absolute gems through her career but like anyone else, she needed help to make things happen the way they did. This is what I F'N HATE about this situation - this band and the particular five Rumours era members, all need each other. They're talented on their own, they are superstars together.

Together, the 5 fireflies have always been far more than the sum of their parts. Sadly enough, they all tend to forget that.
