Yes in the Destiny Rules doco they refer to this song as Monica (Lewinsky).... But my thoughts have been that this may have been a bit of a smoke screen to cover up lyrics that were semi-autobiographical

Yes. She referred to it as Monica in the Destiny Rules documentary. There are refrences in the song though that seem to be drawn from her own life.
