It's not that the three songs don't sound like Fleetwood Mac, just that they sound like club remixes of Fleetwood Mac songs. Like the production was intentionally done in a way to appeal to kids. I'm not saying it's bad, but certainly different from what I was expecting.

Another thing I noticed is that while the individual songs don't do a lot for me on their own, especially lyrically, they sound great together.
Back to back, these two songs made so much sense to me. I had FAY first, then IMW.

People get on Stevie for being trite lately but good lord these aren't the most inspired either. Lindsey's song to me was better, it was just a shame he didn't have Christine showcased more. Just my initial thoughts, Im sure I'll enjoy most of this collaboration.
Yeah.. Feel About You is almost down there with Cheaper than Free lyrically.

Chris is not known for her lyrics. This is not news. But there's something about her and Lindsey together.

Can you hear me calling
Out your name
You know that I'm falling
and I don't know what to say.
Come on baby
We better make a start
We better make it soon
Before you break my heart.

Trite lyrics? Yes but a top ten song.

I'm not really sure how I feel about the song. I don't think it's necessarily bad, but it's also not my cup of tea personally. Too sugary. That being said, after one listen I have it stuck in my head... so it's definitely catchy.

I much prefer this to Oh! Diane. I really like this song.

I like 'In My World' even more. I'm really looking forward to the album.

Just sounds like it's from a musical. It's not for me.

I guess IMW and this song are labeled under the label "Let's over produce a weak song to save it from its misery". Not impressed so far by these two singles. When Lindsey goes for a "sound" before the song, well we know what happens: hit or miss.

Weak songs? Atrocious lyrics? Admittedly Fleetwood Mac has had its share of those.

1. She is a girly girl living in man's world. (She forgot to sign some papers too or something.)

2. Rulers make bad lovers, you better put your kingdom up for sale, you better sell it sell it sell it.

3. And if I was a child and the child was in love you know for me to love enough to love.

4. Whazza mada baybeh? 4 x

5. Welcome to the Room Sara for Scarlett welcome to the choir sir.

6. They ride a limousine because everything else is taken care of.

7. She rules her life like a fine skylark and when the sky is starless.

8. It hurts my self esteem, it hurts my everything
I am reeling... oh, it hurts my feelings ....

I prefer honey and jam, thank you.

Over produce? Uhhh, no - that song song is under produced. Needs to be sweeter.

When I hear overproduced on these singles I laugh! I'm an editor and sound mixer and these are NOT overproduced by any stretch.

Heck, Christine had BTM and Time songs better than this. Save Me, BTM, Hollywood, some other kind of town, Nights in Estoril, Heart of Stone. All much better. Michele
