90% of the time it's BBC Radio 2 otherwise Nation radio. The advert is James Wellbeloved and it's a cover of Landslide.

Okay, let's put it a different way: Christine had as many songs on the Greatest Hits album as Stevie and Lindsey combined. She was the voice. I wonder how the story would be different now if Christine had gotten help in 1991 and dealt with the issues that kept her off the road for the better part of a quarter century.

Did the thought ever occur to Stevie's fans that a large part of solo success is largely because she gives Fleetwood Mac fans a sense of connection to the band?

I saw her solo on the TISL tour (my only SN solo show) for probably the same reason I've seen chiffon-heads at a Mick Fleetwood's Zoo show (when Bekka Bramlett was one of the singers) and at a Peter Green show. I wanted that sense of connection.

And, she gives people that connection.

ETA: After hearing Christine do Gypsy, I think Stevie did a better job of covering a Christine McVie song than the other way around.

ETA2: Although, it Stevie had taken the hiatus, it would have been passable.

I'm happy to see that the band is all finding ways to fit everything in. Stevie had her solo tour this year, Christine and Lindsey are releasing their album and will have a concert, with possibly more, and then Fleetwood Mac is all coming together for the two festivals this summer. Christine also said they will be playing in Europe in 2019, so that implies the 2018-2019 farewell tour. I'm glad they're all getting their cake and eating it too. Although I really hope they all make it through 2019.

That may be the case but The Chain was left off of that album so looking at it that way is pretty irrelevant really.

Probably down to the station then. I only ever listen to radio in the car and there's no way I could stomach Chris Evans in the morning. Smooth FM for me. Looked up Wellbeloved- lovely advert- never seen it before.

BBC Radio 2 is the most popular radio station in the UK with around 15 million listeners so chances are, whatever songs I hear on the radio, the majority of UK radio listeners are going to hear too.

Btw, Radio 2 loves Fleetwood Mac.
