We thought the impossible would never happen. The magic 5 have gotten back together. Who is F'ing up new music from them? Only one witch.

The fact is that this band hasn't recorded a full length album in 13 years. They did one EP a few years ago. This is not how an active, creative musical group behaves.

I think when they recorded 'Tusk' all those years ago they sabotaged their future ability to make an album without making a huge production out of it.

If only they would take a simpler attitude. If only Chris and Lindsey would say to each other, heck, let's just finish what we started two years ago. If Mick insists on waiting for Stevie, they can just go off and make a duo album and not call it Fleetwood Mac. No, of course it wouldn't sell as well, but does either of them really care about having a blockbuster album? I don't think Chris does, or she would have done some promotion for 'In the Meantime.' I don't think Lindsey does; he seems to have derived personal satisfaction as well as an extremely decent living from his solo albums and solo tours over the years.

There's plenty of precedent for this in the world of music. Take Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young for instance; there were albums from numerous subsets of that famous foursome, but they would get back together and make albums as a group, too.
