As a 7 year old child in 1977, I saved my allowance to buy a copy of "Rumours". 2 months later I purchased "Fleetwood Mac (White Album)". I bought ALL subsequent BAND AND SOLO ALBUMS (excluding Mick Fleetwood's "The Visitor") in the year they were released, most being ON THE RELEASE DAY.

I really have no idea for most of them.
But as a rough approximation (probably not including all the albums I have)… Tango in the Night (parents, 1988) Behind The Mask (1990) Rumours (1990) Fleetwood Mac (1990) Mirage (1991) Tusk (1992) Greatest Hits (1970) (1992) Live (1992) Out of the Cradle (1992) The Chain (1992) Albatross (Fleetwood Mac and Christine Perfect) (1993) Bella Donna (1993) The Wild Heart (1993) The Other Side of the Mirror (1993) Rock a Little (1993) Future Games (1994) Kiln House (1994) Mr Wonderful (1994) Time (1995) Greatest Hits (1988) (1995) Boston Live (1995) The Pious Bird of Good Omen (1995) Christine Perfect (1996) Christine McVie (1996) (Peter Green’s) Fleetwood Mac (1996) Man of the World (1998) Then Play On (2001) Say You Will (2003) Bare Trees (2003) Mystery to Me (2003) Penguin (2003) Heroes Are Hard To Find (2003) Green Shadows (2003) In The Meantime (2004) Live in Boston (2004) The Very Best of Fleetwood Mac (2004) (both versions) Shrine 69 (2005) The Dance (2005) Under the Skin (2006) Gift of Screws (2008) Madison Blues (2009) The Vaudeville Years (2009) Blue Again (2010) Something Big (2010) Seeds We Sow (2011) In Your Dreams (2011) Boston (3 CD) (2013) 24K Gold (2014) Mojo On My Side (2015) No real patterns after my initial burst of classic 'Rumours' era albums- I tend to go in phases. I'm aware I bought some albums in a really curious order such as buying some of the 'middle period' albums about 10 years after I first bought Future Games and not buying The Dance until about 2005. |

The 1988 release of Greatest Hits was my first. After that it's a blur.

Tango In The Night cassette, 1987
Then I got Rumours and Mirage on vinyl from my Aunt. If was one of those "if you like that, then you'll like this" moments. Fleetwood Mac on cassette, also 1987 Tusk on cassette, 1987 The rest from Greatest Hits onward were bought as they were released.

It's always been a crime, that the Time lineup was never given a chance to "make it". I'm a so so Dave Mason fan, but ~that Bekka~ is a force of nature! My god she's an amazing singer!
